Abstract: A position estimation system includes: an obtainer that obtains image information of an image showing an indoor space in which a person is located; an estimator that estimates the coordinates of the person in the indoor space, on the basis of the image information obtained; and a position information obtainer that obtains position information of a first communication device from a positioning system. The estimator estimates the coordinates of a target first communication device held by the person, based on the coordinates of the person estimated and the position information obtained, and estimates the coordinates of an object other than the person in the indoor space, on the basis of a state of communication between a third communication device held by the object and the target first communication device, and the coordinates of the target first communication device estimated.

Abstract: An arc detection device includes: a current detector that includes a magnetic core penetrated by first and second paths and each connecting a DC power source and a device, and detects a current flowing through each of the first and second paths and in accordance with a magnetic field generated at the magnetic core; a low impedance circuit having a lower impedance than the DC power source and the device, the low impedance circuit being connected to the first path and the second path to cause a high frequency component to bypass one of the first path or the second path; and an arc determiner that determines an occurrence of an arc based on a current detected by the current detector. In the magnetic core, a direct current flows through the first path in a direction opposite to a direction in which a direct current flows through the second path.

Abstract: An arc detection circuit includes a current detector and arc determination unit. The current detector detects a current flowing through a transmission line which connects an electric power supply device and an electric power conversion circuit. The arc determination unit calculates, from a result of measurement of the current, an area of interest and an area for comparison. The area of interest is an area of a region of interest defined by a predetermined frequency range and predetermined time for determination. The area for comparison is an area of a portion in which detected strength exceeds a predetermined strength threshold in the region of interest. The arc determination unit determines an electric arc has occurred when a ratio between the area of interest and the area for comparison exceeds a predetermined area-ratio threshold.
