Abstract: A biological information detection apparatus includes: a light source which projects a pattern of near-infrared light onto an object including a living body; an imaging system which includes first photodetector cells detecting light in a near-infrared wavelength range and second photodetector cells detecting light in a visible wavelength range, and generates a first image signal representing a first image, which is an image taken in the near-infrared wavelength range, of the object on which the pattern is projected, and a second image signal representing a second image of the object taken in the visible wavelength range; and a calculator which calculates biological information concerning the living body using at least one selected from the group consisting of the first and second image signals.

Abstract: An imaging system serving as an image generation device is provided with: a random color filter array that has a plurality of concave lenses and a plurality of color filters having different transmission characteristics; a photodiode that receives light that has passed through the random color filter array; an AD converter that converts the light received by the photodiode into digital data; and a color image generation circuit that generates an image using the digital data and modulation information of the random color filter array, in which the plurality of concave lenses are located between the plurality of color filters and the photodiode, or the plurality of color filters are located between the plurality of concave lenses and the photodiode.

Abstract: A biological information detection device includes first and second light sources, an image capturing system, and an arithmetic circuit. The first and second light sources project, onto a living body, at least one first dot formed by first light and at least one second dot formed by second light, respectively. The image capturing system includes first photodetector cells and second photodetector cells. The image capturing system generates and outputs a first image signal and a second image signal. The arithmetic circuit generates information concerning the living body, by using the first and second image signals. The first light includes fifth light. The second light includes sixth light. Each of the fifth light and the sixth light has a wavelength in a range from 650 nm to 950 nm. The wavelength of the sixth light is longer than that of the fifth light by 50 nm or more.

Abstract: An imaging system includes a light source that, in operation, emits an emitted light containing a near-infrared light in a first wavelength region, an image sensor, and a double-band pass filter that transmits a visible light in at least a part of a wavelength region out of a visible region and the near-infrared light in the first wavelength region. The image sensor includes light detection cells, a first filter that selectively transmits the near-infrared light in the first wavelength region, second to fourth filters that selectively transmit lights in second to fourth wavelength regions, respectively, which are contained in the visible light, and an infrared absorption filter. The infrared absorption filter faces the second to fourth filters and absorbs the near-infrared light in the first wavelength region.

Abstract: A human detection device according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes at least one light source that, in operation, projects, onto a target, at least one dot formed by first light, the target including a person and an object other than the person; an image capturing system including photodetector cells that detect second light from the target on which the at least one dot is projected, the image capturing system, in operation, generating and outputting an image signal denoting an image of the target on which the at least one dot is projected; and an arithmetic circuit that is connected to the image capturing system and that, in operation, generates and outputs information indicating whether the person is located at a position corresponding to each pixel included in the image denoted by the image signal.
