Abstract: There is provided a method comprising, at a user equipment operating in connection with a first radio access technology network and a second radio access technology network, determining that communication using the second radio access technology is to be suspended and in response to the determining, suspending communication using the second radio access technology and storing a configuration relating to the second radio access technology such that communication using the second radio access technology can be reactivated via at least one of the first radio access technology network and the second radio access technology network.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products supporting LTE-new radio (NR) interworking are provided. One method includes detecting, by a user equipment (UE) in connected mode and having dual connectivity with a master node and secondary node established, of inactivity for the master node. Based on the detection of the inactivity of the master node, the UE enters into a power saving state. A signaling radio bearer (SRB) of the secondary node is pre-configured prior to the entering into the power saving state. At the same time as entering the power saving state, the UE signals to the secondary node that the UE is entering into the power saving state and activates the signaling radio bearer (SRB) of the secondary node.

Abstract: The present invention relates to survival time aware mobility and presents handover procedures when considering survival time (ST) requirements. It proposes a mechanism and embodiments to allow a target cell to have the information relating to a joining UE's Survival Time requirements as well as the ST status during the handover procedure. In particular, the invention is aimed at being introduced into the mobility procedures: Baseline Handover (BHO), Conditional HO (CHO), and Dual Active Protocol Stack (DAPS) HO. In addition to the aggregated RAN architecture, the mobility procedures can be applicable to disaggregated RAN architecture, e.g., CU-DU split.
