Abstract:
A method for performing wireless charging control of an electronic device and an associated apparatus are provided, where the method includes the steps of: performing at least one frequency detection operation according to at least one signal of the electronic device to generate at least one detection result; and determining a specific set of program codes within a plurality of sets of program codes to be an active set of program codes according to the aforementioned at least one detection result, and loading the specific set of program codes from a non-volatile (NV) memory of the electronic device, to control wireless charging operations of the electronic device. For example, the aforementioned at least one signal of the electronic device can be at least one induced signal of a power input coil of the electronic device or at least one derivative of the aforementioned at least one induced signal.
Abstract:
A method for performing wireless charging control of an electronic device with aid of simple response of a wireless charging device and an associated apparatus are provided, where the wireless charging device may be arranged to wirelessly charge the electronic device, and the method may include: receiving a plurality of packets from the electronic device, wherein each packet of the plurality of packets is utilized for carrying information of wireless charging reports of the electronic device, and comprises unacknowledged header information; and controlling the wireless charging device to generate at least one simple response corresponding to at least one packet of the plurality of packets, to acknowledge the at least one packet of the plurality of packets.
Abstract:
Apparatus and methods for sensing current carried by one or more planar conductors is described. A plurality of sensing coils may be fabricated adjacent to one or more planar, current-carrying conductors. The sensing coils may detect a magnetic field generated by time-varying current flowing through the one or more planar conductors. The sensing coils may be arranged to cancel uniform and linear-gradient magnetic fields.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for dynamically selecting one of two power paths in a wireless power receiver. A first power path of the two power paths provides a regulated voltage to output circuitry electrically connected to the wireless power receiver. A second power path of the two power paths provides an unregulated voltage to the output circuitry.
Abstract:
A wireless power transfer apparatus includes a support structure having a top surface and a side surface. The support structure is configured to support a mobile device on the top surface and a wearable device at the side surface. The wireless power transfer apparatus also includes a plurality of transmit coils within the support structure. The plurality of transmit coils are configured to wirelessly transmit power to the mobile device on the top surface and the wearable device at the side surface.
