Abstract:
A sterilization and deodorization apparatus is provided. The sterilization and deodorization apparatus may include a frame that defines an outer appearance of the sterilization and deodorization apparatus, a plasma unit or device disposed on or at one or a first side of the frame, the plasma unit forming a plasma region to generate a plurality of ions, and a filter unit or filter disposed on the other or a second side of the frame which is spaced apart from the frame. The filter unit may include a filter frame having a plurality of through-holes so that air passes therethrough, and a photocatalyst applied to the filter frame to perform photocatalytic reaction.
Abstract:
Provided are a plasma electrode device and a manufacturing method thereof. The plasma electrode device includes a first substrate including a first substrate main body having a first flow hole through which air flows and a first discharge electrode disposed on one surface of the first substrate main body and a second substrate disposed on one side of the first substrate, the second substrate including a second flow hole through which air flows and a second discharge electrode acting with the first substrate. The first substrate main body includes a ground electrode acting with the first or second discharge electrode to perform plasma discharge and a first insulator coupled to the ground electrode.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a plastic plate; a copper discharge electrode formed on a first surface of the plastic plate, the copper discharge electrode having at least one discharge needle; a ground electrode formed on an opposite surface of the plastic plate; and a metal coating layer coated on the copper discharge electrode. Thus, reduced manufacturing costs and maximized lifespan are possible.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a plasma sterilization module, comprising: a housing which is disposed on a flow path through which air flows, and having a first surface through which the air is introduced and a second surface, opposite to the first surface, through which the introduced air is discharged; a discharge electrode disposed in the housing; and a ground electrode disposed in the housing and spaced apart from the discharge electrode, wherein the discharge electrode is applied with a high voltage to generate a plasma discharge toward the ground electrode between the first surface and the second surface, and the discharge electrode and the ground electrode are disposed so as to allow air introduced into the first surface to directly pass through an area wherein the plasma discharge occurs, and be discharged to the second surface, thereby sterilizing microbes in the air.
Abstract:
A plasma device and an air conditioner including a plasma device are provided. The plasma device may include a substrate body, a first electrode disposed on one or a first surface of the substrate body to perform plasma discharge, and a second electrode disposed on the other or a second surface of the substrate body to act with the first electrode. The substrate body may include a third electrode that acts with the first electrode or the second electrode to perform the plasma discharge, and an insulator that surrounds the third electrode.
