    摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide a method of working an injection hole of an electromagnetic type fuel injection valve so that when extrusion by using a punch is adopted, the punch does not break, even in the case where a central axis line of the injection hole of the electromagnetic type fuel injection valve is inclined to a line perpendicular to a face of a plate-like material to be punched. A front end, tapered portion of the punch is inclined in a direction opposed to a plate-like material relative to a central axis line of the punch to facilitate the punch along a sliding, inner face of a punch holder. While achieving a reduction in production cost, the divergent-shaped injection hole can accurately be formed in the plate-like material. A side force (Fs) is produced when the front end portion of the punch impinges on the plate-like material. The side force (Fs) is canceled by a reaction force (Fr) on a side opposed to the plate-like material and a bending moment potentially causing breakage of the punch is avoided.

    摘要: The main voltage generator (5) applies a rectangular-wave radio-frequency voltage to the ring electrode (21) in order to capture ions inside the ion trap (2). In the case where the TOFMS (3) is operated in the reflectron mode, the radio-frequency voltage is changed into a constant voltage value when the phase thereof is 1.5π, and a voltage for expelling ions is applied to the end cap electrodes (22, 23) to expel the ions from the exit aperture (25) and introduce them into the TOFMS (3). In this case, since the velocity spread of the ions inside the ion trap (2) is small and so is the spatial spread thereof, a high mass resolution and accuracy can be achieved while assuring a high detection sensitivity. In the case where the TOFMS (3) is operated in the linear mode, the radio-frequency voltage is changed into a constant voltage value when the phase thereof is 0.5π, and then the ions are expelled. In this case, a high mass resolution and mass accuracy can be achieved since the variation of the ions' acceleration, which cannot be converged in the linear mode, can be suppressed.

The finished hole has a second surface condition, and the second surface condition is formed by transforming the first surface condition by the punch to have a precise dimension.

    摘要: The present invention aims at automatically obtaining a mass spectrum over a wide mass range with a high mass resolution, without the need of the complicated determination of the number of turns or other troublesome computations due to the overtaking of ions on a loop orbit. First, a mass analysis of a target sample is performed under conditions which ensure that the overtaking of ions does not occur, to obtain a mass spectrum with a low mass resolution (S1 and S2). One or more peaks appearing on the mass spectrum are extracted based on predetermined conditions, the mass ranges corresponding to the extracted peaks are determined, and the analysis conditions which ensure that the overtaking of ions does not occur are determined for each of the mass ranges (S3 and S4). Then, in accordance with the analysis conditions, ions within a restricted mass range are selected and ejected from the ion trap to be made to fly along the loop orbit, and mass spectra with a high mass resolution are obtained (S5 and S6). The mass spectrum with a low mass spectrum and the mass spectra with a high mass resolution are eventually combined to create a mass spectrum over a wide mass range (S8).

    摘要: The number of times of repetition of mass spectrometry analysis for integrating mass profiles is reduced to facilitate reduction in measurement time-period and increase a signal intensity. In a state when ions are trapped by a high-frequency electric field formed within an ion trap, a rectangular-wave high-frequency voltage to be applied from a main voltage generation section to a ring electrode is temporarily stopped, and next ions are introduced from an ion entrance port into the ion trap in a state when only a static electric field exists within the ion trap. The high-frequency voltage application is re-started while at least a part of previously-trapped ions remain within the ion trap, to trap the newly-introduced ions in addition to the previous ions so as to increase an amount of ions to be accumulated, and the accumulated ions are subjected to the mass spectrometry analysis.

    摘要: Disclosed is an ion trap mass spectrometer for MSn analysis, which comprises a frequency-driven ion trap section operable to trap sample ions and isolate a precursor ion from the sample ions, while setting an ion-trapping RF voltage waveform at a first frequency providing a first low-mass cutoff (LMCO) value, and, then after setting the ion-trapping RF voltage waveform at a second frequency greater than the first frequency to provide a second LMCO value less than the first LMCO value, without changing an amplitude of the ion-trapping RF voltage waveform, to irradiate the precursor ion in a trapped state with light so as to photodissociate the precursor ion into fragment ions; and an analyzer section operable to subject the fragment ions ejected from the ion trap section, to mass spectrometry so as to obtain information about a molecular structure of the precursor ion. The ion trap mass spectrometer of the present invention can maximize a mass range coverable in one cycle of MSn analysis.
