Abstract:
System information change notification techniques for wireless communication networks are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may comprise a memory and logic, at least a portion of which is implemented in circuitry coupled to the memory, the logic to determine to perform a system information (SI) update procedure at user equipment (UE), identify, based on an SI change indication, one or more SI messages from which to acquire system information blocks (SIBS) according to the SI update procedure, and acquire at least one SIB from each of the one or more SI messages for storage at the UE. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
Support of Single-Cell Point-To-Multipoint (SC-PTM) for narrowband (UEs) and low complexity (BL) UEs can is implemented at both the physical layers and the higher layers. For example, in one implementation, a UE may transmit, to a Single-Cell Point-To-Multipoint (SC-PTM) base station, multicast service preference information, including at least one of a Coverage Enhancement (CE) mode or a maximum Transport Block Size (TBS) of the UE. The UE may also monitor a common search space (CSS) of a MTC Physical Downlink Control Channel (MPDCCH) or Narrowband Physical Data Control Channel (NPDCCH) for the scheduling of a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) or a Narrowband Physical Downlink Shared Channel (NPDSCH), respectively, to obtain downlink control information (DCI) that includes configuration information relating to a Single-Cell Multicast Control Channel (SC-MCCH).
Abstract:
A device for use in a mobile communication user equipment, UE, includes processing circuitry to: receive cell data pertaining to a plurality of assistance data cells, and receive offset information, wherein the offset information describes respective LTE frame offsets between an assistance data reference cell and each of a plurality of neighbour cells. A location server to provide positioning assistance data to a user equipment, UE, comprises processing circuitry to: determine offset information describing respective LTE frame time offsets between an assistance data reference cell and each of a plurality of neighbour cells.
