    摘要： A pneumatic fastener driving tool using a compressed air driven fastener driver includes a housing supplied with compressed air. A nosepiece on the housing forms a drive track for the driver to which fasteners are supplied below the driver. An opening through the nosepiece into the drive track is closed by a movable closure held in place by a pneumatic clamping assembly. This assembly includes a piston and cylinder supplied with compressed air from the housing for biasing a lever engaging the closure. A manually actuated release valve in the piston releases the bias to permit movement of the closure to clear jams. A fulcrum for the lever is also removable to permit opening of the closure to clear difficult jams.

    摘要： THERE IS PROVIDED A FASTENER DRIVING TOOL OF THE TYPE INCLUDING A DRIVE PISTON SLIDABLY MOUNTED WITH A MAIN CYLINDER AND MOVABLE THROUGH A DRIVE STROKE BY THE SUPPLY OF PRESSURIZED FLUID ABOVE THE PISTON AND MOVABLE THROUGH A RETURN STROKE BY THE EXHAUST OF THE CYLINDER ABOVE THE DRIVE PISTON. METERED PASSAGE MEANS ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THE PISTON TO PROVIDE A POSITIVE HEAD OF PRESSURE BELOW THE PISTON DURING THE RETURN STROKE OF THE PISTON, THEREBY PREVENTING INGESTION OF DUST-LADEN CONTAMINATED OUTSIDE AIR. IN ADDITION, THE FASTENER DRIVING TOOL IS PROVIDED WITH AN IMPROVED MAGAZINE CONSTRUCTION FORMED OF SHEET METAL HAVING A TRACK FOR SUPPORTING THE HEADS OF NAIL TYPE FASTENERS. THE STRIPS OF FASTENERS ARE LOADED THROUGH AN OPENING IN THE REAR OF THE MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY AND ARE ADVANCED TOWARD THE DRIVE TRACK OF THE DEVICE BY A PUSHER WHICH MAY BE PULLED BACK AND CAMMED OVER A STRIP OF FASTENERS INSERTED INTO THE MAGAZINE UNTIL IT PICKS UP THE LAST FASTENER OF THE STRIP. IN ADDITION, THE FASTENER DRIVING TOOL IS PROVIDED WITH A PROJECTION WHICH LOCKS A SAFETY MEMBER UPON DEPLETION OF THE FASTENERS WITHIN THE MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY TO A PREDETERMINED POINT.

    摘要： A fastener driving tool comprising a drive track for guiding fasteners as they are driven, a driver slidable in said track and movable on a power stroke to drive fasteners and return stroke in the opposite direction, pusher means for feeding fasteners into the lower end of said drive track and movable between a forward position projecting into said drive track and a rearward position rearwardly retracted therefrom, initiating a power stroke of the driver, and means for retracting said pusher means from said drive track operable to prevent a power stroke of said driver until said pusher means is clear of said drive track.
