Disclosed herein are blended polymer compositions having a polyethylene first resin and a mLLDPE resin. The polyethylene first resin have a density of at least 0.926 g/cm3; and the mLLDPE resin has a density of between about 0.910 to about 0.925 g/cm3 and a melt index ranging from about 0.05 to about 5. The amount of the mLLDPE is less than about 20 weight percent based on the weight of the polyethylene first resin and mLLDPE resin; and the mLLDPE resin has a narrower molecular weight distribution than the polyethylene first resin.

The present disclosure generally relates to ethylene alpha-olefin copolymers and methods of making ethylene alpha-olefin copolymers. The ethylene alpha-olefin copolymers may have a density of about 0.915 g/mL to about 0.918 g/mL, a rheological polydispersity index greater than 0.8, a melt index of about 0.4 dg/10 min to about 2.0 dg/10 min, and/or a CEF T50 of 84° C. or less. The ethylene alpha-olefin copolymers may be made by combining an ethylene monomer and one or more alpha-olefin monomers in the presence of a catalyst, such as a Ziegler-Natta catalyst.

The present disclosure relates to pipes comprising bimodal high molecular weight high density polyethylene which has been extruded in the presence of one or more organic peroxides that are present in an amount ranging from 30 ppm to 200 ppm. The pipe has an improved long-term hydrostatic strength. Also provided are methods for preparing pipes having these characteristics.
