Abstract: A method of a terminal may include: receiving, from a base station, at least one SSB belonging to a first layer; receiving, from the base station, at least one SSB belonging to a second layer; determining valid SSB(s) from among the at least one SSB belonging to the first layer and the at least one SSB belonging to the second layer; selecting at least one first SSB belonging to a layer having a higher priority among the first layer and the second layer from among the valid SSB(s); and reporting the selected first SSB to the base station, and using a beam used for receiving the first SSB to perform an initial access procedure for communications with the base station, wherein each SSB includes at least one of a synchronization signal or a broadcast channel.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting or receiving uplink feedback information in a communication system. An operation method of a terminal may comprise receiving downlink control information (DCI) from a base station, the DCI including resource allocation information of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); receiving data #n from the base station through the PDSCH indicated by the DCI; generating a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook including an HARQ response bit #n for the data #n and an HARQ response bit #n−1 for data #n−1 received from the base station before the data #n; and transmitting the HARQ codebook to the base station. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting or receiving a control channel in a communication system. A method for transmitting control information by a base station includes: configuring a control resource set including a plurality of REGs; interleaving, on a frequency axis, the plurality of REGs included in the control resource set; configuring an REG pool including at least two interleaved REGs; configuring at least one CCE in the REG pool; and transmitting control information through a search space configured by the at least one CCE. Therefore, the present invention improves performance of a communication system.

An operation method of a base station comprises the steps of: configuring a first bandwidth part and a second bandwidth part for a terminal; configuring a reserved resource for the first bandwidth part in a resource area in which the first bandwidth part and the second bandwidth part overlap; and performing an operation of transmitting or receiving a second data channel, which is scheduled to the second bandwidth part, together with the terminal by using the reserved resource. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.
