Abstract:
A flat panel display includes a backlight module, a liquid crystal display panel, and a complex diffuser plate. The liquid crystal display panel is disposed on the backlight module, and the complex diffuser plate including a first and a second diffusion layers is disposed between the backlight module and the liquid crystal display panel. Furthermore, the first diffusion layer is adjacent to the liquid crystal display panel and the second diffusion layer is adjacent to the first diffusion layer. The first and the second diffusion layers have different refractive indexes, transmittances and haze values, so that optical performance of the flat panel display is improved.
Abstract:
A display module is provided. The display module comprises: a display panel; a peripheral module; and a damper structure disposed between the display panel and the peripheral module. The damper structure comprises a fixed portion on the peripheral module; a supporting portion attached to a surface of the display panel; and a middle portion connected to and between the fixed portion and the supporting portion. Hence, the damper structure provides better support to prevent the light leakage from the gap between the display panel and the peripheral module, and provides better stress buffer during the impact test or other external forces so as to protect the liquid crystal panel from damage.

A backlight module includes a back plate, replaceable light source sets, external electrode lamps, and a fastening device. Each replaceable light source set is disposed on the back plate and has an electrically conductive strip. The external electrode lamps are disposed on one of the replaceable light source sets and each has an external electrode electrically connected with the electrically conductive strip. The fastening device is used for fastening the replaceable light source sets and comprises an electrically conductive element electrically connected with the electrically conductive strips.

A cut filter is used in a backlight module or a display device and positioned over the light source to filter off a part of the light comprising an overlap of at least two of the red light, the green light, and the blue light. By filtering off the overlapping part of light emitted from the light source to obtain a purer primary color light, the display device equipped with a conventional color filter can attain an improved color gamut.

A process for synthesis of androstane 17-β carbothioic acid is provided. The process includes mixing an androstane 17-β carboxylic acid and a coupling reagent, and adding an alkanethioic acid to form an androstane 17-β carbothioic acid, wherein the androstane 17-β carbothioic acid has the formula (I): wherein R1 represents hydrogen or haloalkyl groups, R2 represents C1-8 linear alkyl groups, C1-8 branched alkyl groups, C1-6 unsaturated acyclic groups or aromatic groups, R3 represents hydrogen or hydroxyl, R4 represents hydrogen, bromine, chlorine or fluorine and R5 represents hydrogen, bromine, chlorine or fluorine. The process is a one-pot reaction.

A backlight module of an LCD device includes a plurality of fillisters formed in a reflection sheet and each of the fillisters having a reflection surface and a symmetrical axis. A plurality of point light source generators set in the fillisters, in which lights generated by the point light source generators are reflected by the reflection surfaces of the fillisters and the reflection sheet, and a profile of the point light source generators determines a shape of the fillisters. At least one diffuser plate installed on the reflection sheet for scattering the lights generated by the point light source generators and reflected by the reflection surfaces of the fillisters and the reflection sheet, in which an air space is formed between the diffuser plate and the reflection sheet.

A mobile communication device and an incoming call noticing control method thereof are provided. The incoming call noticing control method is used for controlling a mobile communication device. The mobile communication device includes a main body and a ring unit. The main body has a body surface. The ring unit is used for emitting a ringtone. The incoming call noticing control method includes the follow steps. The vibration frequency and the vibration amplitude of the main body are detected. Whether the body surface is substantially facing a predetermined orientation is detected. The volume of the ringtone is controlled according to whether the body surface is facing the predetermined orientation and according to the vibration frequency and the vibration amplitude.

A clamp structure of an external electrode lamp includes a first fixing device, a second fixing device, and a metal strip. The first fixing device has a first indentation and the second fixing device has a second indentation for clamping an electrode of the external electrode lamp. In addition, the metal strip is located between the first and second fixing devices to contact the electrode of the external electrode lamp for providing power. The electrode can be further equipped with a cushion for fixing the electrode onto the first and second fixing devices.
