    Abstract: Embodiments herein describe assigning different linearity operating points of a front end of a radio to groups of user devices when transmitting data using OFDMA. That is, when transmitting a PPDU to a first group of user devices, an access point (AP) may set the front end of the radio to a lower linearity operating point than when transmitting a PPDU to a second group of user devices. Using a higher linearity operating point can increase the data rate used to transmit the PPDU—e.g., the AP can use a higher modulation coding scheme (MCS). This can reduce the time the PPDUs have to wait in a queue before being transmitted.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a dual mode antenna, comprising: a first conductive piece; and a second conductive piece, configured to electromagnetically couple with the first conductive piece through a dielectric at a second frequency to operate as a loop antenna with the first conductive piece and configured to operate independently of the first conductive piece at a first frequency to operate as a monopole antenna. The dual mode antenna can be included in an antenna array as one of a plurality of dual mode antennas coupled to a routing substrate or a reference dual mode antenna coupled to the routing substrate along with a plurality of single mode antennas coupled to the routing substrate; wherein each antenna of the plurality of dual mode antennas, the reference dual mode antenna, and the plurality of single mode antennas is arranged evenly relative to a first neighboring antenna and a second neighboring antenna.

    Abstract: Enhancing Multi-Access Point (AP) Coordination (MAPC) null-steering may be provided. Enhancing null-steering may include sending a coordination request for MAPC. A coordination response may be received from one or more APs. A Channel State Information (CSI) request may then be sent. CSI of one or more clients associated with the one or more APs may be received. Next, one or more precoder and decoder matrices may be determined based on the CSI of the one or more clients. The one or more precoder matrices may be sent to the one or more APs, and the one or more decoder matrices may be sent to the one or more clients. A transmission may be sent to a first client using null-steering and interference alignment based on the one or more precoder matrices, wherein the transmitting is synchronized with transmissions by the one or more APs to the one or more clients.

    Abstract: A location server collects from access points at known locations in a venue, which is represented by grid locations defined by parameters accessible to the location server, (i) ultra wideband (UWB) location measurements for a UWB location technology based on UWB transmissions from mobile devices in the venue, and (ii) non-UWB location measurements for non-UWB location technologies based on non-UWB transmissions from the mobile devices. The location server associates the non-UWB location measurements for the non-UWB location technologies with the grid locations, using the UWB location measurements as reference measurements. The location server populates location calibration records for the grid locations of the venue with the non-UWB location measurements associated with the grid locations. The location server calibrates the non-UWB location technologies at the grid locations based on the non-UWB location measurements in the location calibration records associated with the grid locations.
