摘要: A maritime chute for maritime evacuation from a vessel to a floatable unitis configured to substantially vertical descend, comprising an inlet section, a plurality of first sections, each first section comprises a first upper end and second lower end, a plurality of second sections, each second section comprises a first upper end and a second lower end, wherein each first upper end comprises a first connection means and each second lower end comprises a second connection means, each first upper end comprises a third connection means and each second lower end comprises a fourth connection means, the first connection means is configured to be arranged opposite to and to interact with the fourth connection means for providing a first releasable connection, and the second connection means is configured to be arranged opposite to and to interact with the third connection means for providing a second releasable connection, the sections when connected define an evacuation path to lead a person down through the maritime chute during the descend.

摘要: The present invention relates to an evacuation system for positioning and maintaining a position of an inflatable floatable unit in relation to a maritime structure during evacuation of persons at sea, comprising a maritime structure from which persons are to be evacuated, an inflatable floatable unit configured to be deployed from the maritime structure, and a bowsing system comprising a first bowsing line extending from the maritime structure to the inflatable floatable unit, and a first bowsing winch configured to, by means of the first bowsing line, bowse and position the inflatable floatable unit in relation to the maritime structure after it has been deployed from the maritime structure into the water, wherein the bowsing system further comprises a first hydraulic cylinder having a piston with a first piston end extending outside the first hydraulic cylinder, and a first hydraulic accumulator which is in fluid communication with the first hydraulic cylinder, the first piston end being connected with the first bowsing line between the first bowsing winch and the inflatable floatable unit. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a bowsing method for positioning and maintaining a position of an inflatable floatable unit in relation to a maritime structure during evacuation of persons at sea.

摘要: The present invention relates to a protective suit (1) being CE approved according to European Norm Standards EN 469:2005/A1:2006 or according to US National Fire Protection Association Standard NFPA 1971 Edition 2013 to be worn by a wearer during firefighting or similar operations, comprising a first outer fabric layer (3) which is at least made of flame-resistant material, a second basic layer (10) having a moisture barrier, and a third layer being heat-resistant, the second basic layer (10) and the third layer being connected, wherein the protective suit (1) is fulfilling EN 469:2005/A1:2006 or NFPA 1971 Edition 2013 when the first outer fabric layer (3), the second basic layer (10) and the third layer are worn together, and wherein the first outer fabric layer (3) is detachably connected with the second basic layer (10) by means of connection means (11), the connection means being arranged accessible from the outside of the protective suit, so that the wearer can easily separate the first outer fabric layer (3) from the second basic layer (10), when the first outer fabric layer has been contaminated during firefighting, without having to take off the second basic layer so that the wearer is still protected against the weather conditions. The present invention also relates to a protective suit system and a method.

摘要: A survival craft for maritime evacuation of passengers and crew members from a vessel or an offshore facility is disclosed. The survival craft has a hull, predominantly made of non-rigid inflatable tubes and one or more shells, the hull has a length, a width and a centerline, a bow and a stern. The survival craft further comprises a first pair of engine-powered propulsion means arranged at the stern on opposite sides of the centerline, and a second pair of engine-powered propulsion means arranged at the bow on opposite sides of the centerline, each engine-powered propulsion means has a propeller or a water jet, wherein a horizontal angle of each propeller or water jet of each engine-powered propulsion means can be independently set in relation to the centerline.
