A first toothed wheel is mounted on the first shaft and a second toothed wheel is mounted on the second shaft. The first toothed wheel and the second toothed wheel engage with one another through a third toothed wheel. The housing for the third toothed wheel has at least two spatially offset bearing points in order to adjust a transmission ratio between the first shaft and the second shaft. An electric parking brake having a gearing unit is also provided.
