    Abstract: An improved base shoe for use with panel installation and removal systems. The improved base shoe includes dovetail grooves for use with a safety-seal and a weather seal, wherein the safety-seal and weather seal must be installed prior to installing a glass panel. The improved base shoe features a recess for use with taper plates having a continuous projection along an upper surface. The base shoe and taper plates are configured so as to provide a prying surface between the projection on the taper plates and a wall of the base shoe.

The motor control block (11) could be configured to dynamically switch a control parameter or a control method in accordance with the failure level. The input data may further include, for example, a drive voltage applied to the motor (20). Furthermore, the input data may further include, for example, at least one of vibrations and a temperature of the motor (20) or a motor device (1) mounting the motor (20) therein.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a motor control device for controlling a motor current, with a predictive deadbeat control unit configured to, based on a motor current error input signal, use a model predictive control scheme for providing an output signal for controlling the motor current according to a deadbeat control scheme, where the deadbeat control scheme is characterized by minimizing the motor current error input signal within a preset time period; an interface unit configured to allow adjusting the preset time period by a user input; and an integrator unit configured to, based on the motor current error input signal, provide an integrator output that is added to the output signal for controlling the motor current with controlling a motor current, with the advantages of a predictive deadbeat control scheme while avoiding the problems present in the conventional predictive deadbeat approaches. The invention also relates to a corresponding method.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting the power provided by an electric drive system to an ESP motor through an electrical network based on a model of the system and real-time inputs indicating operating conditions of the system. Some embodiments use a field oriented control system to adjust a direct-axis current setting to generate output power signals which drives the motor at a desired operating point for optimized performance. The electrical network may include a filter, a transformer, and a transmission line. A drive controller may receive real-time operating conditions and motor parameters as input, and may select further system parameters based on the received parameters. The controller builds a model of the electrical network and generates adjustments to the power generated by the drive using the system model and received real-time input. The adjustments may be recalculated at scheduled intervals.
