    摘要: An apparatus comprises a dielectric material having a first surface and a second surface with a varying thickness between the first surface and the second surface. The first surface has a substantially hyperbolic curved shape with a single vertex, and the second surface has a substantially planar shape. The combination of the substantially hyperbolic curved shape and the dielectric material is chosen to compensate for different delays in electromagnetic waves impinging the first surface and traveling through the dielectric material such that the electromagnetic waves exiting the dielectric material through the second surface after traversing the dielectric material have a phase profile either constant or varying smoothly from the center to the edge.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may be configured to include an array of lenses along with multiple antenna arrays that each include a set of antenna elements. The antenna arrays may each support multiple beam directions, such as a respective beam direction for each lens of the array of lenses. If beams for multiple antenna arrays concurrently pass through the same lens, the lens may contribute to maintaining separation between the beams. Lenses may also contribute to the shaping of beams, and the use of multiple lenses may enhance a coverage area for beams transmitted or received by the antenna arrays.

The apparatus also includes or more lens elements configured to modify wireless inputs signals to the first array of antennas and to modify wireless output signals from the first array of antennas.

    摘要: An antenna module includes a mounting board with a flat plate shape, and a power supply circuit to supply a radio frequency signal. The power supply circuit is mounted on the mounting board, and a radiating electrode is arranged on the power supply circuit. A dielectric fills a region around the power supply circuit and the radiating electrode. A conductive layer covers at least part of the dielectric. In the dielectric, a lens part is formed at a position overlapping the radiating electrode in plan view of the mounting board. The dielectric includes a first region in which the lens part is formed and a second region other than the first region, and the conductive layer is formed in the second region.
