摘要: A phased array antenna panel includes a first plurality of antennas, a first radio frequency (RF) front end chip, a second plurality of antennas, a second RF front end chip, and a combiner RF chip. The first and second RF front end chips receive respective first and second input signals from the first and second pluralities of antennas, and produce respective first and second output signals based on the respective first and second input signals. The combiner RF chip can receive the first and second output signals and produce a power combined output signal that is a combination of powers of the first and second output signals. Alternatively, a power combiner can receive the first and second output signals and produce a power combined output signal, and the combiner RF chip can receive the power combined output signal.

摘要: An RF antenna arrangement has the same or slightly larger footprint as the RF shield for radio chips on a printed circuit board. The apparatus includes a printed circuit board, a digital processor, a radio chip(s), a radio frequency shield, a lid, and an RF antenna arrangement(s). The lid has the same or slightly larger footprint as the RF shield, which enables the lid to fit on the RF shield. The RF antenna is formed as an integral part of the lid. The apparatus also includes an RF transmission coaxial cable(s) having a first end physically and electrically connected to the RF antenna arrangement(s) and the surface of the lid, and a second end electrically coupled to an RF connector. By forming the antenna arrangement(s) from the lid, this invention solves the space constraint problems of antenna placements for wireless device applications. Additionally, this invention is cost-effective and simple to manufacture.

摘要: An antenna assembly and an electronic device are provided. The antenna assembly comprises a dielectric substrate; an antenna unit, arranged on a surface of the dielectric substrate; a radio frequency chip, arranged on a surface of the dielectric substrate, and connected with the antenna unit; and a metal shielding cover, arranged on another surface of the dielectric substrate facing away from the antenna unit, and coving the antenna unit. The electromagnetic interference to antenna unit caused by other electronic devices of electronic equipment can be isolated through the metal shielding cover, and the antenna unit and the radio frequency chip of the antenna assembly can be arranged on the same dielectric substrate, avoiding the use of a coaxial cable to connect the antenna unit and the radio frequency chip, thereby solving the problem of electromagnetic interference to and ensuring the radiation performance of the antenna unit.
