Abstract: The present application concerns a circuit breaker including a movable contact, a driving rod slidably mounted in the circuit breaker, a linkage mechanism for driving the movable contact, a pivoted driving fork rotatably mounted in the circuit breaker which cooperates with the driving rod through the cooperation of a primary pin provided on the driving rod and a primary slot provided on the driving fork, a driven lever connecting the driving fork to the movable contact, and wherein the driving rod supports a secondary pin which cooperates with a secondary slot of the driving fork when the driving rod in a position between a predetermined position and an extreme opened position of the circuit breaker.

Abstract: An electrical switching unit with separable contacts comprises a switching device comprising: a control lever coupled mechanically to a mobile electrical contact and an anti-bounce lever, mounted on the control lever and configured to be displaced to a deployed position to cooperate with an abutment to prevent the control lever from leaving its position.
The switching device comprises a fixed bearing mounted around the control lever. The anti-bounce lever comprises a contact portion which is in contact against an edge of the bearing when the anti-bounce lever is in its rest position and which is displaced along the edge when the control lever rotates about the bearing. The bearing comprises, on the edge, a guiding portion in the form of a cam configured to push the anti-bounce lever to its deployed position.-

Abstract: A circuit interrupter includes a stationary contact and a moveable contact arm assembly having a moveable contact positioned thereon, the moveable contact configured to be moveable into and out of physical contact with the stationary contact. The circuit interrupter also includes an overcurrent tripping device coupled to the moveable contact arm assembly via a linkage assembly and configured to move the moveable contact out of physical contact with the stationary contact upon detection of an overcurrent situation. The moveable contact arm assembly is connected to the linkage assembly via at least two pivots positioned on the contact arm assembly, so as to cause a relative sliding action between the moveable and stationary contacts as the moveable and stationary contacts are moved into or out of contact with each other such that a wiping action is created in order to clean the moveable and stationary contacts.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for designing a pin joint having a bearing member and a pin member received within the bearing member is provided. The method includes receiving, via a Graphical User Interface (GUI), at least one input related to one or more pin joint configuration parameters. The method includes receiving, via the GUI, at least one input related to one or more pin member design parameters. The method includes receiving, via the GUI, at least one input related to one or more bearing member design parameters. The method includes calculating a set of design parameters of the pin joint based on the inputs related to the pin joint configuration parameters, the pin member design parameters, and the bearing member design parameters. The method includes generating an output design of the pin joint based on the comparison between the calculated set of design parameters with a set of predefined design parameters.
