摘要: An alert device includes electronic circuitry and at least a first antenna. The circuitry is designed for sending out a first signal, for wireless communication with at least a first hand held communication device, and at least a second signal for wireless communication with at least a second hand held communication device. The second signal differs from the first signal, preferably in at least one of transmitting energy, transmitting frequency, coding and pulse length. The device includes a switch for switching between: a first mode in which only the first signal is transmitted and a second mode wherein the first and second signal are transmitted; or a first mode wherein only the first signal is transmitted and a second mode wherein only the second signal is transmitted.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method executed by at least one processor includes receiving first historical location information identifying a first location area at which a first user was present at a first time and receiving second location information identifying a second location area at which a second user was present at a second time. The method includes determining that the first historical location information and the second location information each correspond to a particular location area and determining that a characteristic related to the first user corresponds to a preference related to the second user. In response to these determinations, the method includes causing information related to the first user to be presented to the second user. The information related to the first user includes the first location area of the first user relative to the second location area of the second user.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for assisting in the location of an engulfed element in a predetermined search zone, implemented by a location assistance system including at least a plurality of patrollers including at least one drone, the method including at least the following steps: arrival of the drone at the predetermined search zone; determination by the drone, of the topography of the predetermined search zone; division of the predetermined search zone into areas, by the drone, depending on the topography and the capabilities of each patroller, and assigning of each area to at least one patroller; searching for the engulfed element in each search zone by the at least one patroller assigned to the area; and periodic inter-patroller communication at least until the at least one engulfed element is located.

摘要: There is provided a security system for use at an enclosure containing one or more passive components of an optical communication link. The security system comprises a sensor configured to detect a physical breach of the enclosure, and an optical alert signal generator coupled to the optical communication link. The optical alert signal generator is self-powered, and configured to generate an optical alert signal and transmit the optical alert signal through the optical communication link when a physical breach of the enclosure is detected by the sensor. The optical alert signal is detectable at an entity external to the enclosure and connected to the optical communication link.

摘要: A system is disclosed for determining the location of hospital assets. The system includes one or more communication devices each associated with a respective asset identification and a computing device configured to communicate with the communication devices via a network. The computing device receives, from a respective communication device, data comprising the respective asset identification of the respective communication device an identifier associated with a patient or a patient care device, obtains, from a database based on the identifier, additional information pertaining to the patient or the patient care device, and determines a location of the respective communication device based on the data received from the respective communication device and the obtained additional information.

Alarm subsystems input the alarm drive signal and activate one or more of multiple alarms accordingly. A subsystem function signal provides feedback to the alarm controller as to alarm subsystem integrity. A malfunction indicator is output from the alarm controller in response to a failure within the alarm subsystems.
