Abstract: Methods, apparatus, devices, subsystems, and systems for holographically displaying live scenes including one or more three-dimensional (3D) objects are provided. In one aspect, a system includes a holographic capturing system and a holographic display system. The holographic capturing system includes: an optical system configured to generate an optical hologram of a live scene that comprises one or more three-dimensional (3D) objects, and an optical sensor configured to capture sequential optical holograms of the live scene and output sequential hologram data associated with the sequential optical holograms of the live scene, each optical hologram being associated with respective hologram data. The holographic display system is configured to optically reconstruct the live scene in a 3D space based on at least part of the sequential hologram data.

Abstract: A virtual storage volume may be implemented as one or more chunks stored on a set of storage nodes. The virtual storage volume may be dynamically adjusted by adjusting the one or more chunks that make up the virtual storage volume, without taking the virtual storage volume offline. Such dynamic volume adjustment may allow for increasing volume size without moving data unnecessarily. In addition or alternatively, such dynamic volume adjustment may free up storage space in a node with minimum movement of data.

The tablet computer further includes a sensor signal filter capable of selectively communicating the positional input signal from the sensor section to the processor, to a separate external processor, or to neither the processor nor the separate external processor; and a display switch capable of coupling the display to the processor or to the separate external processor.

Abstract: A medical device comprises a control system, processing modules, and a wire bundle connecting the control system to the processing modules, the wire bundle comprising control lines and data lines. Each processing module is coupled to a respective set of sensors arranged to interface with a biological tissue site, the sensors being configured to capture analog physiological signals generated from the biological tissue site. The control system is configured to generate a control signal on the control lines to initiate a data collection cycle by the processing modules. In response to the control signal, each processing module is configured to perform a respective data collection process which comprises (i) capturing and processing an analog physiological signal on each enabled sensor to generate a data sample for each analog physiological signal captured on each enabled sensor, and (ii) outputting data samples to the control system on the data lines.

Abstract: A method for configuring multiple displays connected to a common computing system is disclosed. In one embodiment, a computing system detects multiple displays connected thereto. The computing system causes at least one of the displays to emit a lighting pattern. This lighting pattern may include, for example, sequentially displaying a selected background color and/or pattern on each of the displays. The computing system detects the lighting pattern using one or more cameras connected to the computing system, such as cameras incorporated into the displays. Using the detected lighting pattern, the computing system infers a physical arrangement of the displays. In certain embodiments, the computing system uses artificial intelligence to infer the physical arrangement. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed herein.
