The sensor drive circuit includes a second current source configured to generate a second current having a temperature characteristic of which a first order coefficient is negative and of which a second order coefficient is negative. The sensor drive circuit includes a current amplifier configured to amplify a third current, the third current being set by adding the first current and the second current. The sensor drive circuit includes a constant current source configured to generate a temperature-corrected constant current, such that a drive current for the sensor is set by adding the constant current to the amplified third current.

    摘要: A method for calibrating an eddy current sensor for temperature. Both frequency and one of voltage and current of an oscillator driving the eddy current sensor are measured at a plurality of temperatures and a plurality of target surface distances. Temperature equations are regressed to fit the measured frequency and one of the voltage and the current for each temperature, where the temperature equations have a common number of equivalent factors, and factor equations are regressed for each of the equivalent factors. A gain adjustment and an offset adjustment pair for each of the plurality of temperatures is determined for an oscillator associated with the eddy current sensor, that compensates an output of the eddy current sensor to a standard temperature. A gain equation is regressed to fit the determined gain adjustments, and an offset equation is regressed to fit the determined offset adjustments. The temperature equations, factor equations, gain equation, and offset equation are provided with the eddy current sensor.

    摘要: A circuit for obtaining information on a physical quantity according to an embodiment includes a sensor arrangement sensitive to the physical quantity, at least one further sensor element sensitive to the physical quantity and a supply circuit configured to provide the sensor arrangement with a supply signal comprising a supply voltage controlled by the supply circuit in a closed-loop configuration. The supply circuit is further configured to provide the at least one further sensor element with a further supply signal comprising a further supply current such that a magnitude of the further supply current fulfills a predetermined relationship with a magnitude of a supply current of the supply signal. As a consequence, it may be possible to improve a trade-off between an improved compensation of variations, simplifying an implementation, simplifying the manufacturing, simplifying the sensing and providing stable sensing conditions.

    摘要: A system and method for determining the wind force along the planned trajectory of a projectile are disclosed herein. A drone is flown along the expected path of the trajectory along a set heading. The drone is programmed to maintain the heading. As wind forces act upon the drone during its flight, the drone's electronic stability system provides automatic power and directional control to one or more motors that control the rotors and propellers that keep the drone aloft. By monitoring the changes in motor or drone state information over time in response to wind forces, the wind can be determined at various locations along the flight path. This information can be provided to a ballistics calculator to determine the launch heading of the projectile.

The controller is configured to determine an output temperature setpoint, determine whether a period of expected high water demand is approaching, and in response to determining that the period of expected high water demand is approaching, activate the second heating element. The controller is further configured to deactivate the second heating element when a second temperature sensed by the second temperature sensor crosses a second temperature threshold, activate the first heating element when the second temperature crosses the second temperature threshold, and deactivate the first heating element. Wherein the first temperature threshold is lower than the second temperature threshold and the first and second temperature thresholds are higher than the output temperature setpoint.

    摘要: A torque detecting apparatus includes a first shaft; a second shaft; an elastic member coaxially linking the first and second shafts; and a magnet attached to the first shaft; a pair of magnetic yokes composed of a first magnetic yoke and a second magnetic yoke, the first and second magnetic yokes being fixedly installed on the second shaft; and a magnetic sensor. Each magnetic yoke includes an opposing portion and a wall portion. The opposing portion is opposed to the magnet and displaced circumferentially relatively to the magnet when the elastic member is subjected to a torsional displacement. The wall portions of the first and second magnetic yokes are separated and positioned outside the opposing portions in the radial direction. The wall portions of the first and second magnetic yokes extend to be mutually opposed. The magnetic sensor is positioned between the wall portions.
