Abstract: The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to a modular light, fixture body, junction box and sub assembly. The light has a central housing and can be adapted to fit with existing sockets. Further additional twist and lock components are provided, including a twist and lock luminaire body. The light can be installed without tools, and can be easily replaced, and prevents the accumulation of water within the light.

The housing, the retention body, the rotatable body and the articulating body may dissipate the heat so that the housing has a surface temperature that does not a predetermined maximum surface temperature.
