    Abstract: A lighting system includes a housing, a candle, a discrete light emission point (DLEP), a power source, and a controller. The housing has a cavity, a support surface, and an area that is translucent, transparent, and/or open. The candle is atop the support surface. The DLEP is positioned in the cavity for emitting light through the area. The controller is in communication with the DLEP and the power source to actuate the DLEP. Another lighting system includes a housing, a candle, a plurality of discrete DLEPs, and a power source. The housing has a cavity, a support surface, and an area that is translucent, transparent, and/or open. The candle is atop the support surface. The DLEPs are positioned in the cavity for emitting light through the area. At least one of the DLEPs extends from a lower face of a substrate when the lighting system in in an operating configuration.

    Abstract: Various components for artificial candles and other lighting devices are described that can be used to create a realistic flame effect in the devices. The devices include a flame element that extends upwardly from a housing. A light source can be disposed with respect to the flame element such that the flame element is illuminated. A variety of drive mechanisms could be disposed within the body of the device that can cause movement of the flame element with respect to the housing. The flame element can be coupled to a housing or mounting bracket of the device using various components to suspend the flame element within the housing.

    Abstract: Methods, systems and devices associated with a scented electronic candle are described. In one example, an electronic candle includes an outer shell with one or more openings configured to allow a fragrance to exit to an ambient environment of the electronic candle. The outer shell comprises a central opening such that a flame element protrudes at least partially through the central opening. The device includes a light emitting component to emit a light onto the movable flame, and a mounting base positioned below the movable flame element. The device also includes a scent storage component removably coupled to the mounting base. The scent storage component includes a container to store a fragrance and an absorption member configured to draw the fragrance to the ambient environment of the electronic candle through the one or more small openings of the outer shell.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a muzzle flame simulator and a method for generating a light trail. The muzzle flame simulator includes a projectile passage, a projectile sensor, a controller, and at least one simulating flame light source. The projectile passage is disposed inside the muzzle flame simulator. The projectile sensor is coupled to the controller and configured to send a trigger signal to the controller in response to detecting a projectile passing through the projectile passage. The controller includes a signal generator circuit, which is configured to output at least two preset periodically changing control signals. The controller is configured to start the signal generator circuit in response to detecting the trigger signal. The at least one simulating flame light source is coupled to the controller, the simulating flame light source each at least includes two illuminating components that are configured to periodically emit light based on the control signals.

    Abstract: The utility model provides a simulated electronic candle, including an LED light, a candle flame-like light-transmitting lampshade, and a PCB configured to control the LED light. The light-transmitting lampshade has an axis hole with a through bottom, and the LED light includes a columnar lamp holder and a pin. The lamp holder includes an upper light-emitting section and a lower black cotton-like core section. The light-emitting section extends into the axis hole and is fixed with the light-transmitting lampshade, and the pin is welded to the PCB. The lamp holder is arranged as the light-emitting section and the cotton-like core section, and the pin is welded to the PCB, so as to form a single-piece structure.
