    Abstract: A method of installing a supplemental window apparatus having a substantially non porous sheet having a sheet area substantially similar to a window area defined by interior surfaces of a window element of an existing window, the window element holding a windowpane. The method includes attaching one or more pane fasteners to the windowpane. One or more mating fasteners coupled to the substantially non porous sheet are attached to the one or more pane fasteners, such that there is an air gap dimension between the sheet and the windowpane. An attachment material is applied to one or more areas of the supplemental window apparatus to further attach the supplemental window apparatus to the window pane.

    Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a ground sealing arrangement for a portable flood barrier further comprising a vertical wall.     Abstract: A decorative shutter assembly securable to an opening of a building for security and storm protection. The shutter assembly includes a shutter frame that is hingedly mounted within a mounting assembly. The shutter assembly includes a plurality of operable shutter slats that extend between vertical shutter columns. Each shutter slat includes an elongate decorative shell disposed over an inner skeletal structure. The inner skeletal structure includes a pair of spaced-apart lateral louver rods extending the length of the decorative shell and a plurality of end caps which are affixed at respective ends of the lateral louver rods. A central rod extends the length of the decorative shell and is arranged for mounting within the shutter columns to enable pivotal movement of the shutter slats between closed and open positions.
