摘要: Embodiments of the disclosure include compositions and methods that stabilize a injection fluid when exposed to reservoir conditions, reducing formation damage and increasing the amount of hydrocarbon recovered. Specifically, the formulation is a single-phase liquid surfactant package which comprises a surfactant and optionally one or more secondary surfactants. Also provided are methods of using the stabilized injection fluids in stimulation operations.

摘要: A method for obtaining substituted alkyl(meth)acrylamide includes reaction between (meth)acrylic acid or an ester thereof, and a primary or a secondary alkylamine. At least one of the two is at least partially renewable and non-fossil. The substituted alkyl(meth)acrylamide can have a bio-sourced carbon content of between 5 wt % and 100 wt % relative to the total carbon weight in the substituted alkyl(meth)acrylamide. The bio-sourced carbon content can be measured according to the standard ASTM D6866-21 Method B.

摘要: Proppant particles formed from slurry droplets and methods of use are disclosed herein. The proppant particles can include a sintered ceramic material and can have a size of about 80 mesh to about 10 mesh and an average largest pore size of less than about 20 microns. The methods of use can include injecting a hydraulic fluid into a subterranean formation at a rate and pressure sufficient to open a fracture therein and injecting a fluid containing a proppant particle into the fracture, the proppant particle including a sintered ceramic material, a size of about 80 mesh to about 10 mesh, and an average largest pore size of less than about 20 microns.

摘要: A water-soluble polymer system for suspending proppant in a fracturing fluid is disclosed herein. The polymer system can be made with acrylamide, acrylic acid, a surfactant monomer, urea, a glycol ether, sodium hydroxide, and water and when mixed in a fracturing fluid with a proppant can form three-dimensional structures by hydrophobic association. The structures can also reduce frictional energy losses in the fracturing fluid system and can increase oil recovery after fracturing occurs.
