Abstract: The technology described herein includes methods and uses in oil and gas hydraulic fracking for a quaternary ammonium organosilane, and particularly AMOSILQ™ quaternary ammonium organosilane. Uses include coating and treating filters for use in the hydraulic fracking process, premixing in fracking fluid/water; flowback water treatment and proppant coating.
