    Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic separator supply apparatus. The automatic separator supply apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is an apparatus for supplying a separator winding roll, the apparatus including: a transfer unit which includes a unit shaft for receiving the separator winding roll and moves the received separator winding roll; and an unwinder which includes an unwinder shaft, to which the separator winding roll moved by the transfer unit is mounted, and unwinds the separator from the separator winding roll mounted to the unwinder shaft when the electrode and the separator are wound. The transfer unit mounts the separator winding roll to the unwinder shaft of the unwinder after the unit shaft is aligned with the unwinder shaft of the unwinder.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a coil-transporting carriage with adjustable retaining arms and to a method for the reliable handling of metal coils of small external diameter, or of sleeves, on a coiler mandrel. The coil-transporting carriage has a vertically displaceable coil saddle for accommodating a coil or a sleeve, also has two retaining arms for stabilizing the coil or the sleeve, the retaining arms being arranged opposite one another on the coil saddle and being pivotable by means of rotary drives, and additionally has a second drive unit for moving the coil-transporting carriage. For pulling off from a coiler mandrel, the coil saddle is positioned against a coil located on the coiler mandrel and the retaining arms are pivoted onto the coil. For pushing onto a coiler mandrel, first a sleeve is placed on the coil saddle of the coil-transporting carriage and is thereby guided by the retaining arms.

    Abstract: Disclosed in the present application are an automatic roll replacing device, and winding equipment. The automatic roll replacing device comprises: a mounting frame; an unwinding mechanism, comprising an unwinding shaft connected to the mounting frame in such a manner that the unwinding shaft can rotate around its own axis; a spare material mechanism, comprising a spare material shaft having a contact end and a material pushing member providing an axial pushing force for a spare material roll on the spare material shaft, the spare material shaft being connected to the mounting frame in such a manner that the spare material shaft can rotate around the rotation axis, when the spare material shaft is located at a material pushing position, the contact end contacting the unwinding shaft, and the material pushing member being controlled to push the spare material roll on the spare material shaft to transfer to the unwinding shaft; and a strip connection mechanism, provided on the mounting frame, and used for cutting off a work material strip unwound from the unwinding shaft and connecting the cutoff work material strip to the spare material roll. According to the automatic roll replacing device provided by the present application, the use of the spare material shaft and the material pushing member implements pushing of a spare material roll on the spare material shaft to the unwinding shaft, and there is no need to provide two unwinding mechanisms, thereby greatly simplifying the structure of the automatic roll replacing device, and reducing the occupied space.

    Abstract: A magazine has a generally rectangular, prismatic shaped body with a lid. The body has a front with an opening, an opposite back, a bin upon the back, a left side and an opposite right side spanning from the front to the back, a toothed rack on each side, a spindle assembly between the two racks, and a base beneath the front, the back, and the two sides. The lid rests upon the front, the back, the left side, and the right side in a spacing above the base. Each spindle of the assembly receives a roll of wrapping paper, oriented parallel to the front. Each spindle has an end cap and an opposite movable cap engaging a dock upon a cover. The spindles rotate upon gears with the spindle assembly upon the racks. Grips upon each spindle allow a user to unroll paper as desired.

    Abstract: A web unwinding and splicing system includes a turret unwind having a turret arm with rotatable shafts at opposing ends thereof to unwind a running web of an expiring web material roll and unwind a waiting web of a new web material roll. A web splicing unit operable with the turret unwind includes a web deflection device that bumps the running web onto the waiting web to splice the running web with the waiting web and a cutting device that selectively severs the running web, thereby creating a leading portion of the running web that is spliced to the waiting web and a trailing portion of the running web that remains separate from the waiting web. A vacuum system is positioned proximate the running web to suction in the trailing portion of the running web left on the expiring web material roll.
