Abstract:
A reclosable package comprises a first panel having first and second side sections and a second panel having first and second side sections. The first panel opposes the second panel and is joined to the second panel along the first and second side sections. A bottom extends between the first and second side sections of the first and second panels with the first and second panels joined to each other. A mouth is disposed opposite the bottom and extends between the first and second side sections of the first second panels. A closure member extends along the mouth, with the closure member including a first fin joined to the first panel and second fin joined to the second panel. A sealing member having a first and second ends is disposed proximate the mouth. The ends of the sealing member can be attached to the fin or panel such that at least one of the first end or second ends of the sealing member is attached with peelable seal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a discharge control device, comprising a hopper (1) receiving a metered product amount where it is deposited, discharge control elements (3) movable between a closed position and an open position by a driving mechanism, and a fill tube (2) connecting the discharge control device with a fill nozzle of the form-fill-seal machine whereby a bag is filled with product, wherein the driving mechanism of the discharge control elements (3) comprise a motor (7) driving the movement of one of the discharge control elements (3), and a synchronizing connecting rod (9) synchronizing the movement of the discharge control element (3) driven by the motor (7) with the other discharge control element (3). The invention allows filling bags reliably and more quickly.
Abstract:
A bag feeding device includes a bag feed conveyor, a bag capture unit, a bag placement section and a bag supply unit. The bag feed conveyor is configured to sequentially convey packaging bags. The bag capture unit is configured to capture the sequentially conveyed packaging bags one by one. The packaging bags captured by the bag capture unit are placed on the bag placement section one by one. The bag placement section is provided with a bag position correction unit. The bag supply unit is configured to hold the packaging bag placed on the bag placement section to supply the packaging bag to a bag holding unit of a packaging machine.
Abstract:
A packaging system for high flexibility and speed box-last packaging comprises one or more dimensional scanning sensors that are configured to scan a group of one or more target products that are to be boxed and gather dimension information describing physical dimensions of the group of one or more target products. The system also comprises one or more packaging-production machines that are configured to generate custom-made packaging templates that conform to a pre-determined set of packaging template types. Additionally, the system comprises a packaging template buffer that comprises physically divided sections that contain multiple packaging templates selected from the pre-determined set of packaging template types that are generated by the one or more packaging-production machines. Each of the packaging templates are organized within the physically divided section based upon packaging template type.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a container comprising and outer shell and an inner lining, to a method of construction of such a container and to components used in the construction of such a container. A container comprises an outer shell made from a first material comprising paperboard, and an inner lining made from a second material comprising a polymeric or metallic material, the lining defining an internal volume for holding a liquid, and the lining being adhered to the shell, wherein, the outer shell includes a line of weakness extending around at least part of the periphery of the shell and defining a first portion of the shell on one side of said line and a second portion of the shell on the other side of said line, the line of weakness permitting the first portion of the shell to be separated from the second portion of the shell, and wherein, the lining is adhered to the shell in said first portion and the lining extends into to said second portion of the shell.
Abstract:
The present invention is a marketing and distribution method for introducing and maintaining refillable containers for personal care products such as cosmetics, creams, lotions, and sprays. The refillable container is refilled at local refill stations at stores, kiosks, vending machines, and the like, to eliminate the need for new packaging with each purchase. The method is designed to reduce waste and costs associated with product packaging by using refillable containers to dispense personal care products.
Abstract:
A container may include a body portion having opposing open and closed ends, and a trapezoid-shaped longitudinal side extending laterally between the open and closed ends. The open end may include a latch portion extending laterally and being opposite to the trapezoid-shaped longitudinal side. The container may also include a handle coupled to the open end, and switchingly coupled to the latch portion.
Abstract:
A system and method for laser marking can end, including a can end center panel and/or pull tab. The decorated can end and/or tabs may have a machine readable image.
Abstract:
