    摘要: A rotary milking platform 1 has a deck 2, a circular upper beam 4 connected to and supporting the deck, a circular lower beam 6 and a series of carriages 5 connected end to end to form a ring between the beams. The platform is formed such that the upper beam 4 is arranged to rest and rotate on the ring of carriages 5 to rotate the deck 2. Each carriage has at least one carriage roller 10, and each roller 10 arranged to rotate on the lower beam 4. Each roller 10 also has a retention flange 11 at only one side. The flanges 11 of some of the rollers 10 are at or adjacent an inner side of the ring, and the flanges 11 of others of the rollers are at or adjacent an outer side of the ring. The rollers 10 of the ring are arranged such that at least one roller is oriented with its flange 11 on an opposite side to another of the flanged rollers immediately adjacent to it. The flanges prevent the carriages from moving off the lower beam 4 when the platform 1 is in use. Further, at least some of the carriages can be disconnected from the ring and swung laterally to be moved free of the beams 4, 6 for maintenance, repair or replacement.

    摘要: A receiver embedded in and affixed to a foundation, the receiver is adapted to receive a turntable through an opening defined by the floor and walls of the receiver. The turntable is designed to rotate within the opening. The floor of the receiver has holes therein for bolts. The holes are located relative to center of the receiver and the foundation such that a turntable may be affixed to the bolts and rotate within the receiver and foundation. The receiver has a number of flanges both on the walls and on the floor to engage with the foundation. The foundation is created from two pour sections, a first pour for the floor of the foundation and a second pour for the walls of the foundation.

    摘要: System and method for loading and unloading highway vehicles for transportation over railroad lines. The system has a number of railroad vehicles, each having a deck for highway vehicles. The deck extends from a central portion of the vehicle to one or both ends of the railway vehicle. The invention includes a terminal which has at least one stationary railroad track portion which is connected to a railroad system outside of the terminal. The terminal also has number of moveable railroad track segments. These segments can be positioned in a first configuration in which they are aligned so that railroad vehicles can be rolled from one or more of the stationary railroad track segments onto the moveable railroad track segments. These segments can also be positioned in a second configuration in which at least one end of each of the railroad vehicles is positioned adjacent a dock or other surface for motor vehicles, so that highway vehicles can be moved from the railroad vehicles onto the surface for motor vehicles, or from the surface for motor vehicles to the railroad vehicles. The system is equipped to move the moveable track segments from the first configuration to the second configuration, and back to the first configuration. The surface for motor vehicles is connected to a highway system outside of the terminal.

    摘要: An automatic article transport system capable of transporting a plurality of articles to respective destination positions within a short time and at high efficiency. The system includes a plurality of fixed rails, a plurality of movable rails each capable of running along a pair of fixed rails, and a plurality of hoists capable of running on the movable rails and of lifting and lowering a member to be transported. Controllers are installed on the movable rails and the hoists, respectively. The system further includes a central controller having a table and a device for generating a path for a member to be transported, and transmitters for transmitting control electric power and control signals between the central controller and the controllers installed on the movable rails and the hoists. A transport path for a member to be transported is determined in the path generating device on the basis of data on members to be transported, transport sequence data, and equipment and structure data.

The runner with the left side panel held thereon travels along a rail while the runner with the right side panel held thereon travels along a rail. Both runners are stopped at a standby position and then conveyed to a runner transfer position simultaneously. The runners with the left and right side panels held thereon, respectively, are loaded on the traverser and then conveyed to a drop lifter arranged above a main body assembly line. The left and right side panels are transferred to the drop lifter. The drop lifter then descends and feeds the left and right side panels simultaneously on opposite sides of a floor panel in the main body assembly line.

    摘要: A traveling route structure of a conveying traveling body has a traveling route with an area intersecting a crossing aisle, and has a movable rail horizontally openable and closable between a connection working position that connects guide rails in front and rear of the crossing aisle and a retracting position lateral to the crossing aisle. The movable rail has front and a rear movable rails arranged in a line when the movable rails are in the connection working position. Each of the movable rails is pivotally supported so as to be horizontally rotatable about a vertical spindle at each outer end portion positioned outside of the crossing aisle. A locking means couples inner end portions of both movable rails together, with the inner end portions being adjacent to each other when the movable rails are in the connection working position.

A form having an outer surface is adapted to secure to at least one of the plurality of frame members. The outer surface of the form is adapted retain a portion of the foundation material for pouring a second section of the foundation and the second section of the foundation defines a wall. Part of the turntable is adapted to rotate within the wall.

    摘要: Disclosed is a turntable assembly adapted to be concentrically positioned among a plurality of radially aligned pairs of outer railways for reducing rail car dwell time, physical distribution, transportation, and efficiently handling railway railcars in rail yards. The turntable assembly comprises a fixed mounted platform having a central railway in the form of a plurality of perpendicular crossing railway tracks, an azimuthally rotatable annular frame circumscribing the rotatably mounted platform and having a spaced plurality of radially disposed intermediate railways segregated into aligned pairs for selectively aligning with different pairs of outer railways and perpendicularly crossing railways tracks. The turntable assembly allows placing of multiple railcars on turntables simply by repositioning the turntables to accept new railcars without removing existing railcars and capable of acting as a bypass for traffic on the feeder track.
