摘要: This document describes systems and method of embedded printing for additive manufacturing. A print material is printed into a support material. The print material and the support material each have a fluid phase and a solid phase. The print material transitions from the fluid phase to the solid phase based on a fluid-fluid interaction with the support material. One or more parameters of the support material can be adjusted to cause a diffusion rate of the print material into the support material during the fluid-fluid interaction to be less than a threshold value. Multiple print materials can be printed into the support material simultaneously.

摘要: A multi-fluid kit for three-dimensional printing includes a fusing agent and a fluorescing detailing agent. The fusing agent includes water and a radiation absorber. The radiation absorber absorbs radiation energy and converts the radiation energy to heat. The fluorescing detailing agent includes water and a fluorescent colorant that is active by exposure to ultraviolet energy to emit light in the visible range of from about 400 nm to about 780 nm. The multi-fluid kit is devoid of a second detailing agent and a second fluorescent colorant.

摘要: A multi-fluid kit for three-dimensional printing can include a fusing agent comprising water and a radiation absorber, wherein the radiation absorber absorbs radiation energy and converts the radiation energy to heat. The multi-fluid kit can also include a detailing agent including an aqueous liquid vehicle and from about 1 wt % to about 12 wt % polyelectrolyte solubilized in the aqueous liquid vehicle at from about 90 wt % to 100 wt %. The polyelectrolyte can have a weight average molecular weight from about 1,000 Mw to about 12,000 Mw and can be water-absorbent at a water to polyelectrolyte weight ratio from about 2:1 to about 1,000:1.

摘要: According to examples, a system may include a first carriage carrying a laying device that may form a build material layer over a build area and a first energy source that may apply energy onto the build material layer as the first carriage is moved over the build material layer. The system may also include a second carriage carrying an agent delivery device and a second energy source, in which the agent delivery device may selectively deliver an agent onto the layer of build material and the second energy source may apply energy onto the agent and the layer of build material as the second carriage is moved across the build material layer. The system may further include a controller to control movement of the first carriage and the second carriage across the build area, in which the first carriage may be independently movable with respect to the second carriage.
