摘要: A wheel hub configured to be used with an electric vehicle. The wheel hub includes a hollow cylindrical body, a direct drive motor, a hollow axle, a battery, and a tire. The hollow cylindrical body includes a first end surface and a second end surface that is axially opposite and spaced apart from the first end surface. The direct drive motor is disposed within the hollow cylindrical body and is configured to rotate the cylindrical body about a central axis of the motor. The hollow axle has a central axis that is coaxial with the motor central axis and is at least partially disposed within the cylindrical body. The battery is disposed within the hollow cylindrical body and is in electrical communication with the direct drive motor. The tire is fixedly coupled and disposed on an external surface of the hollow cylindrical body.

摘要: A suspension system for a motorized or non-motorized roller board includes a truck center housing, a pair of truck wings disposed on opposing sides of the truck center housing, and a pair of wheels connected to the respective pair of truck wings. The truck center housing is configured to engage with a truck assembly coupled to a deck of the roller board. The truck center housing defines a pivot axle cavity that houses a pivot axle, a pivot axle shaft and a pair of torsional springs disposed on each side of the pivot axle coupled to the deck of the roller board. The pair of truck wings includes a front cavity that receives the corresponding torsional spring and a wheel shaft that couples with the pair of wheels. The pair of torsion springs dampen the load of the roller board when a force is exerted on the wheels.

摘要: A skateboard device may include a frame, a set of wheels, and a deck. A user or rider may stand on the deck. The deck may be divided into a front panel and a rear panel, on which the user may rest a front foot and a rear foot, respectively. The rear panel may be fixed relative to the frame. The front panel, in turn, may pivot sideways relative to the frame and, in pivoting sideways, may drive a front wheel fork for rotation in order to steer one or more front wheels of the set of wheels left or right. In some embodiments, the skateboard device may include relatively wide, convex, single front and rear wheels facilitating riding the skateboard device not only on hard, flat surfaces but also on other terrains such as, but not limited to, dirt, gravel, etc.

摘要: A motorized personal transportation article is described which transports a person by wearing a pair of power-assisted motorized shoes, wherein the shoes provide an increase in a user's walking speed in a forward walking action through supplementary motion of moving or propelling means based on an intended walking speed of the user, such that when a user's intended walking speed changes or when a user intends to substantially decelerate or immobilize, the speed of the supplementary motion can be adjusted before the step is completed. The sole of each of the shoes houses at least one plate coupled to moving or propelling means such as conveyor assemblies, and the moving or propelling means are designed to neutralize forces acting to disrupt the operation of the moving or propelling means during a forward walking action or the balance and comfort of the user.
