Abstract: A medical device for dressing head wounds of a patient. The device has a dome-shaped flexible cap with a circumferential pocket around its base and an adjustable strap having two opposite ends, wherein the two opposite ends can be affixed to the flexible cap using an attachment mechanism. The adjustable strap is further adapted to cover the patient's chin, thereby securing the flexible cap over the patient's head. The adjustable strap can further have a chin pocket at a middle portion of the strap such that it overlays the patient's chin. The circumferential pocket and the chin pocket are configured to accommodate at least one wound dressing pad for covering the head wounds, wherein the head wounds are located at least partially in front, back, and/or below the patient's ears and at least partially on the patient's chin.

Abstract: A dry eye treatment device and method including a pliable thermal pack engageable upon a first side of a vibration ring is provided. The vibration ring has a second side adapted for positioning on the face of a user to communicate vibration to the eyelids of a user from the vibration ring, and heat or cold from a bulging portion of the thermal pack communicating through a pair of openings in the vibration ring. A cover forming a cavity on the face of the user to house the vibration ring and the thermal pack may also be employed.

Abstract: A therapeutic device includes a generally rigid but elastically deformable sheet body including a bridge portion, first and second support portions extending outwardly from the bridge portion in opposite directions along a longitudinal dimension, and adhesive or an adhesion member on a first surface along the bridge portion that is adapted for adhesion to skin of a user above a target site. The therapeutic device also includes first and second projections on the first surface proximate to lateral edges of the sheet body. The sheet body is configured to assume a neutral configuration in which the first and second projections space the bridge portion and the adhesive or the adhesion member apart from the target site by an air gap, a depressed position during affixation of the first surface to the target site, and an adhesion configuration after affixation of the first surface to the target site.
