    Abstract: An aerosol provision device includes a receptacle arranged to receive at least a portion of an article including aerosol generating material. The receptacle has a heating element defining a heating zone arranged to receive a first part of the portion of the article receivable in the receptacle and a base member at an end of the heating element. The base member defines an end zone arranged to receive at least a second part of the portion of the article receivable in the receptacle. The base member is free from material heatable by penetration with a varying magnetic field.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aerosol provision system (100) comprising: an article (1) comprising an aerosol generating material (4) and a first coupling portion (5); and, an aerosol provision device (200) comprising a second coupling portion (6) and a zone (202) that is configured to receive the article (1). The first and second coupling portions (5, 6) are configured such that the first coupling portion (5) is magnetically attracted to the second coupling portion (6) when the article (1) is received in the zone (202).     Abstract: A support for a heater component of an aerosol provision device defines an axis and is configured to engage an end of the heater component to hold the heater component substantially parallel to the axis at a predetermined distance from a coil. The support defines a channel to receive a wire of a temperature sensor, and the channel defines an opening into a space between the heater component and the coil. An aerosol provision device is also described which comprises: a heater component configured to heat aerosol generating material; a first support, wherein the first support defines an axis and is configured to engage a first end of the heater component; a second support, wherein the second support is configured to engage a second end of the heater component; and at least one coil configured to heat the heater component. The first and second supports hold the heater component substantially parallel to the axis at a predetermined distance from the at least one coil.

    Abstract: An aerosol-forming substrate is provided for use with an inductive heating device, including: a solid material to release volatile compounds to form an aerosol upon heating of the substrate, a first susceptor material to heat the substrate and having a first Curie-temperature and being arranged in thermal proximity of the solid material, and a second susceptor material having a second Curie-temperature and being arranged in thermal proximity of the solid material, the first Curie-temperature being lower than the second Curie-temperature, and the second Curie-temperature defining a maximum heating temperature of the first and second materials, the first and second materials being arranged in heaped formation at different locations within the substrate, one of the first and second susceptor materials being arranged in a central region of the substrate and the respective other one of the first and second susceptor materials is arranged in peripheral regions of the substrate.
