    摘要: A multiplexed color video signal recording and reproducing apparatus comprises a first circuit for producing a time division multiplexed signal in which one or two compressed color difference signals are multiplexed with the phase inverted for every predetermined horizontal scanning periods, a second circuit for producing a multiplexed color video signal by multiplexing the time division multiplexed signal with a non-compressed luminance signal, a third circuit for recording and reproducing the output signal of the second circuit on and from a recording medium, a comb filter circuit supplied with a reproduced signal from the third circuit, a fourth circuit for obtaining reproduced signals of the first and second color difference signals from an output reproduced time division multiplexed signal of the comb filter circuit, an encoder for producing a carrier chrominance signal from the output signals of the fourth circuit, and a fifth circuit for producing a reproduced color video signal by multiplexing the carrier chrominance signal and the reproduced luminance signal from the comb filter circuit.

    摘要: A video signal recording apparatus for recording outputs from a solid-state image pickup device on a magnetic disc. The output pixel signals from the solid-state image pickup device are written in a pixel memory through an A/D converter in units of pixels at a write rate equal to a read rate of the solid-state image pickup device. The pixel signals in the pixel memory are read out at a read rate lower than the write rate thereof. The readout data are D/A-converted and are supplied to a processing amplifier. The processing amplifier produces a video signal which is then recorded on the magnetic disc.

    摘要: A recording signal generation system for a color video signal which is suitable for high density recording in a magnetic recording and playback apparatus. In each horizontal scan period which includes an effective horizontal scan period and a horizontal blanking period arranged serially on the time axis, a luminance signal is positioned in the effective horizontal scan period while, in the horizontal blanking period, compressed color signals generated by time-axis compressing color signals having a duration equal to the effective horizontal scan period by a predetermined ratio are disposed. The luminance signal and compressed color signals are time-division multiplexed. Special burst pilot signals are superposed on the multiplex signal each of which is separable from the compressed color signals and alternate with the other at an interval of one horizontal scan period, thereby discriminating the color signals from each other while indicating a position of horizontal blanking period. A carrier having a suitable frequency is frequency modulated by the superposed signal and the modulated output is used as a recording signal.

    摘要: A digital processing circuit for a video signal digital by processing a composite video signal. More specifically, a composite video signal is separated into a luminance signal and a color signal by means of a Y/C separator (10). The color signal separated is converted into a signal having low frequency by means of a low frequency converter (11) that the signal having low frequency is converted into a digital signal by means of an A/D converter (13). The luminance signal separated is converted into a digital signal by means of an A/D converter (12). Digital signals are transmitted through a transmission line (5). The transmitted luiminance signal is converted into an analog signal by means of a D/A converter (14) so that the analog signal is supplied to a Y/C mixer (17). The transmitted color signal is converted into an analog signal by means of a D/A converter (15) and the analog signal thus obtained is demodulated to a signal having the initial frequency by means of a demodulator (16) so that the signal having the initial frequency is supplied to the Y/C mixer (17). The Y/C mixer (17) mixes the luminance signal converted into the analog signal and the color signal converted to the signal having the initial frequency so that an output signal is provided therefrom.

    摘要: Spectrum conservation in encoded color TV signals is disclosed. An encoded color video signal is orthogonally re-encoded to eliminate the high frequency color subcarrier component to enable transmission or recording of the resulting video signal without distortions in the amplitude or phase characteristics of the encoded color chrominance component as might be introduced without re-encoding of the signal. Re-encoding is achieved by orthogonally converting the incoming color video signal at a predetermined rate, and specific embodiments are disclosed for achieving an optimum orthogonal pattern of the color subcarrier information. After transmission or recording, the original high frequency color subcarrier information and picture luminance component is reconstructed in a video memory device. Orthogonal re-encoding is shown to be generally useful for re-encoding color TV signals including providing an orthogonally encoded color slow-scan TV signal without use of intermediate memory devices.
