Abstract: A panel fuse module for use with one or more fuses. The panel fuse module includes a housing with a first fuse contact and a second fuse contact. The first fuse contact is resiliently deformable and is mounted on a post of the housing. A movable fuse holder is provided which is moveable relative to the housing and relative to the first fuse contact. A cam member is provided on the movable fuse holder. As the movable fuse holder is moved from the first position toward the second position, the cam member cooperates with the first fuse contact to move the first fuse contact from a less-stressed first position to a more-stressed second position to allow the respective fuse of the one or more fuses to be inserted into the housing without engaging the first fuse contact.

Abstract: An automotive vehicle fuse box includes a receptacle having a bottom, a pair of fuses fitted into the bottom, a pair of output terminals coupled to first ends, respectively, of the fuses, and a pair of input terminals coupled to second ends, respectively, of the fuses. The pair of output terminals extends from the receptacle in a first direction, while the pair of input terminals extends from the receptacle in a second direction. The fuse box also includes at least one other pair of fuses fitted into the bottom and another pair of input terminals coupled to second ends, respectively, of the other pair of fuses. The other pair of input terminals extends substantially in parallel to the second direction. Abstract: The invention relates to a fuse holder comprising two housing elements which, once assembled, together form a tube in which a fuse is accommodated. The first housing element includes a base extending longitudinally along the direction of assembly of the two housing elements with each other. A seal is placed on the base mainly in a plane perpendicular to the direction of assembly. During assembly, the second housing element is brought to at least partially cover the base to sandwich the seal between the two housing elements. A rim extends around the base in the direction of assembly in order to protect the seal until the two housing elements are assembled together.
