    摘要: A coil drive device energizes an operation coil to close an electromagnetic contactor. A rectifier outputs, to a power supply line, an input voltage obtained by full-wave rectification of an AC voltage supplied from a main power source. A controller controls on and off of a switching element connected to a power supply line in series with the operation coil. The controller controls a duty ratio that is an on period ratio of the switching element in each switching period in accordance with a value of a parameter calculated from a detected value of the input voltage, in at least a partial period after start of energization of the operation coil in response to a close command for the electromagnetic contactor.

    摘要: A solenoid driver circuit adapted for use with a digital magnetic latchingolenoid which has first and second solenoid coils. The solenoid driver circuit includes a bridge circuit which receives a logic signal and first and second pulse signals. The solenoid driver circuit also includes a voltage source which provides a direct current and first and second resistors respectively connected to the first and second solenoid coils. The bridge circuit, responsive to the logic signal and the first pulse signal, provides a first current path from the voltage source through the first solenoid coil and the first resistor to ground and a second current path from the direct current voltage source through the second solenoid coil to ground. The bridge circuit, responsive to the logic signal and the second pulse signal, provides a third current path from the direct current voltage source through the first solenoid coil to ground and a fourth current path from the direct current voltage source through the second solenoid coil and the second resistor to ground. The current flow through the current paths which include a solenoid coil and a resistor is approximately one amp, while the current flow through the currents paths which include only a solenoid coil is approximately twenty six amps. This allows for high speed control of the forces acting on the actuator of the solenoid.

    摘要: A precipitation detector and mechanism used to shut down a load during precipitation and activate a load upon completion of precipitation. The detector has thermistors in a bridge circuit. One of the thermistors is exposed to the elements and cooled upon being contacted with precipitation. This causes an imbalance in the bridge circuit the output of which actuates a relay that shuts down the load. Termination of precipitation allows the thermistor to warm up balancing the bridge circuit and the relay closes activating the load.

The filter circuit comprises input terminals to be connected with a direct current voltage, a first output terminal to be connected with a first terminal of the inductive load and a second output terminal to be connected to a second terminal of the inductive load, a first diode, wherein the cathode of the first diode is connected to said first output terminal and to said first input terminal, a second diode, wherein the anode of the second diode is connected to said second output terminal, and a filter capacitor which is connected between said second input terminal and to a node which interconnects the anode of said first diode and the cathode of said second diode.

    摘要: The invention relates to hermetically sealed contacts, electromagnetic devices using such contacts, as well as method and means for controlling such electromagnetic devices.A hermetically sealed contact (reed switch), comprising a capsule enclosing at least two peripheral elastically mounted magnetically controlled cores permanently anchored in the ends of the capsule and a central elastically mounted magnetically controlled core at least partially overlapping the peripheral ones and secured in a supporting member arranged in the capsule intermediate of the inner ends of the peripheral cores, is, according to the invention, characterized by that the supporting member is made elastic and the elasticity thereof is less than the transverse elasticity of the central magnetically controlled core, the latter being secured symmetrically with respect to the elastic supporting member so that when a magnetic flux is applied to the cores, it gives rise to an electromagnetic force of attraction between the magnetically controlled cores, and the central core comes in or out of contact with one of the peripheral cores.The electromagnetic device of the present invention uses the hermetically sealed contact (reed switch) described herein above and comprises at least one magnetizing coil arranged externally of the capsule and connected to a power supply.

    摘要: The electromagnetic coupler uses a coil to induce voltage onto a transistor. By controlling the amount of current that flows through the coil, one is able to can control the strength of the magnetic field emitted by the inductor. And by the controlling the q-point of the transistor, the amount voltage and current induced onto the transistor it can then potentially be used as a switch or an amplifier without any electrical/electronic connection to the internal coil. The use of a transistor enables high speed switching and the potential amplification of communication signals.

    摘要: A pulse generator is provided for energizing a coil with period bipolar current pulses for the purposes of airborne prospecting. The pulses have a generally square waveform, and the pulse generator includes a resonant DC to AC converter circuit including a DC input and an output coupled to the coil. A control circuit is provided for controlling the switching of the converter, and a resonant capacitor is connected in parallel across the DC input. A decoupling diode is provide for decoupling the resonant capacitor from the DC input when the voltage across the resonant capacitor exceeds that of the DC input. The converter includes first and second resonant charging sub-circuits, first and second resonant discharging sub-circuits, first and second freewheeling sub-circuits and first and second exponential charging sub-circuits. The control circuit is arranged to control the amplitude and frequency content of the square waveform by switching the convertor circuit to operate between the above sub-circuit types in at least one controlled switching cycle during unipolar current pulse intervals. The circuit further includes a clamping circuit arranged to supply a substantially constant DC voltage to the coil which is higher than that of the DC input.
