Abstract:
A selector for an on-load tap changer with a diverter switch includes: an insulating plate with a first side and a second side, the second side opposite the first side; a plurality of fixed contacts, which extend from the first side through the insulating plate to the second side; a first movable contact on the first side; a second movable contact on the second side; a first connection, which is connected with the first movable contact and which is connectable with a first branch of the diverter switch; and a second connection, which is connected with the second movable contact and which is connectable with a second branch of the diverter switch. Each of the first moveable contact and the second movable contact are selectably connectable with each of the fixed contacts.
Abstract:
The device is used for locking an access for actuating two switching devices of high-voltage switchgear with the aid of a drive shaft transmitting drive force onto the two switching devices. In order to increase the operational safety of the high-voltage switchgear with little outlay, the locking device comprises a closing disk which is fastened on the drive shaft, a rocker bar arrangement containing at least four rocker bars, and a slider. The slider can be moved, on-site, into two positions, the first of which releases an access for the actuation on-site and blocks an access for the actuation from a remote location, and the second of which blocks the access for the on-site actuation and releases the access for the remote actuation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an on-load tap-changer (1) having a switching tube (15), an energy accumulator (13) for adjusting a switch position of the switching tube (15), a detector (200) for detecting a switch position of the on-load tap-changer (1), and an on-load tap-changer mechanism (100). The switching tube (15) and the detector (200) are both mechanically coupled to the energy accumulator (13) via the on-load tap-changer mechanism (100).
Abstract:
A switch according to the embodiment includes a first contact that switches between an open state and a closed state, a second contact that switches between an open state and a ground state, an operating lever, and a rotating member that rotates for a predetermined angle in accordance with an operation of the operating lever. Furthermore, the switch includes a first cam that opens and closes the first contact by rotating in conjunction with a rotation of the rotating member in one direction, and a second cam that opens and closes the second contact by rotating in conjunction with a rotation of the rotating member in another direction.
Abstract:
A drive mechanism for driving a rotary signalling switch of a high voltage electrical apparatus, in particular a disconnector or a grounding switch, the mechanism connecting the rotary shaft of the signalling switch to a rotary actuator shaft of an actuator mechanism for actuating the contacts of the apparatus so that the contacts of the signalling switch are opened or closed when the contacts of the apparatus are opened or closed, the actuator shaft being displaced at an angular velocity .omega..sub.ht during an operation to open or close the contacts of the apparatus. The drive mechanism constitutes a positive action mechanism connected between said drive shaft and said rotary shaft, and includes drive device for driving the rotary shaft of the signalling switch at the beginning and at the end of an operation at a velocity .omega..sub.cs greater than .omega..sub.ht.
Abstract:
A control for a power-assist feature for an hydraulic closer is driven by structure mounted on the pinion shaft of the closer. It includes a pump-activating arm slidably mounted on the shaft, the end of the arm adapted to cover a pump-on sensor when the door is `bumped`. It also includes a follower rotatably mounted near the pinion and engageable escapement-fashion by a wheel in friction fit on the pinion shaft, the follower carrying a pump-deactivating arm, the end of the latter arm adapted to move away from a pump-off sensor when the door opens to its preset limit.
Abstract:
A stepper drive for a step-type transformer has an upper geneva wheel rotatable about a wheel axis, a lower geneva wheel spaced below the upper wheel and also rotatable about the axis, and a driver rotatable about a driver axis adjacent the wheels and having an upper abutment engageable with the upper wheel and a lower abutment engageable with the lower wheel and offset by about 180.degree. relative to the driver axis from the upper abutment. A selector abutment is provided on the upper wheel offset from the axis thereof. A selector lever pivotal about a selector axis offset from the wheel axis is engageble with the selector abutment in end positions of the upper wheel. A blocking plate shiftable radially on the lever between an actuated position and an unactuated position is urged by a spring into the unactuated position. A blocking element on the plate is positioned in the path of the upper abutment of the driver in the actuated position and out of the path of the upper abutment of the driver in the unactuated position. The driver is rotated about its axis to displace the upper drive wheel between its end positions, and engage the selector abutment in the one end position of the upper wheel against the blocking element to shift it into the actuated position on such engagement.
Abstract:
A electrical programmer (10, 120) is provided that features a first gear (18) that is rotated at a uniform rate by a drive source (16) and operative to rotate a driven gear (30) and an intermediate member (20) which, in turn, respectively operate to rotate a second cam (38) uniformally and a first cam (52) intermittently to open and close a first switch as a function of its uniform rotation; and, cam (52) is operative to open and close a second switch as a function of its intermittent rotation. Programmer (10, 120) preferably includes a rotary drum (110) operable to engage a plurality of electrical contacts in conjunction with the operation of the first and second sub-interval switches.
Abstract:
A cigarette packing machine wherein one or more indexible turrets for portions of or entire cigarette packs and the tools which treat the portions of or entire packs receive motion from a transmission having an input element which is a main drive shaft, several additional driving components in the form of shafts and/or gears receiving motion from the main drive shaft, several driven components which receive motion from the driving components and transmit motion to the tools and/or turret or turrets, and couplings which connect one or more driving components with associated driven components and/or the driven components with the associated turret or turrets and associated tools. The couplings include prefabricated flats provided on the driving and driven components, turret or turrets, and tools; such flats abut against each other to maintain the components, turret or turrets and tools in predetermined positions relative to each other.
