摘要: The present invention is directed to switch device disposed in a housing with a back body portion, the device includes a switch actuator having a user-accessible surface, the user accessible surface includes an indicator element and an interior channel optically coupled to the indicator element. A light emitting portion is disposed within the interior channel and optically coupled to the indicator element so that the interior channel moves relative to the light emitting portion when the switch actuator moves between the first actuator position and the second actuator position. The light emitting portion is optically coupled to the indicator element when the interior channel moves relative to the lighting portion. A modular lighting assembly is removably coupled to the back body portion at a fixed position so that a light emitting portion of the modular lighting assembly is disposed within the interior channel and optically coupled to the indicator element.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a switch device that includes an actuator guide coupled to the switch actuator plate. The perimeter wall of the guide is disposed within the back body member in a nesting arrangement such that the actuator guide is configured to slide within the back body member in a substantially linear motion between a non-switch actuating position and a switch actuating position. The perimeter wall forms a contaminant shield to substantially prevent dust external to the device from contaminating the plurality of guide portions. A transmission mechanism is coupled to the actuator guide and configured to convert the linear motion of the actuator guide into a rotational movement when the switch actuator plate is depressed. A mechanical switch mechanism is configured to move between a first switch state and a second switch state in response to the rotational movement of the transmission mechanism.

摘要: A switch has a base, a housing, a support terminal that is assembled in the base, a moving contact piece that is made of a band-shaped material having a section being formed into a substantial J-shape, a moving contact being provided in one end portion of the moving contact piece, an intermediate portion of the moving contact piece being turnably supported by a turning bracket of the support terminal, a plunger that is accommodated in an internal space while being vertically movable, wherein the internal space is formed by fitting the housing in the base, and a coil spring that is turnably supported by the plunger. The plunger is vertically moved such that one end portion of the coil spring is slid while brought into press-contact with an edge of the other end portion of the moving contact piece, whereby the moving contact piece is inverted to bring and separate the moving contact into contact with and from a fixed contact. The pair of moving contact pieces is disposed on the base such that axis centers of the moving contact pieces are parallel to an axis center in a longitudinal direction of the base and such that the moving contact pieces are located on both sides in a central portion in the longitudinal direction of the base.

摘要: A restoration assembly of a button switch includes first and second sleeves, and a spring disposed between the two sleeves. A first outer diameter of the first sleeve is less than a second inner diameter of the second sleeve to make the second sleeve movably jacket outside the first sleeve. The jacketed first and second sleeves are disposed between a key cap and a base of the button switch. The spring has a first end portion, a second end portion and a middle section. A middle outer diameter of the middle section of the spring is larger than a first inner diameter of the first sleeve. During the spring being compressed along with the key cap being pressed downward, the middle section is squeezed to shrink and slide into the first sleeve through an end edge of the first sleeve, thereby producing a tactile feedback and/or a first sound.

摘要: The present invention is directed to an electrical wiring system having a frame assembly that includes a frame opening at a central portion thereof. The frame opening provides access to the interior of the device wall box. At least one electrical wiring device is configured to snap into the frame opening such that the interior of the device wall box is completely enclosed by the frame assembly and the at least one electrical wiring device such that access to wiring disposed within the device wall box is substantially prevented. The at least one electrical wiring device includes at least one user-interface. An aesthetic overlay may be coupled to the frame assembly. The aesthetic overlay includes an overlay opening configured to accommodate the at least one user-interface such that the at least one user-interface is accessible to a user.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a protective device including a fault protection circuit configured to provide a fault detection stimulus in response to detecting at least one type of predetermined fault condition. A circuit interrupter is disposed on a first side of a PCB and an auxiliary switch is at least partially disposed on a second side of the at least one PCB. The auxiliary switch includes a switch throw element movably extending through an opening in the PCB between the first state and the second state, the auxiliary switch being configured to decouple at least a portion of the fault protection circuit assembly from the plurality of line terminals in the second state.
