摘要： Disclosed is a reel clutch of a tape recorder. A plate spring is positioned between a reel gear and a reel disc of a reel disc assembly which is mounted on a deck of a tape recorder, and a stopper reel is provided on the reel disc to restrain the engaging height of the plate spring so that a torque is generated by the frictional contact between the reel disc and the plate spring, whereby assembly productivity can be enhanced and manufacturing costs can be reduced.

摘要： A magnetic-tape-cassette apparatus includes a tape deck having winding mandrels (5) which are rotatably supported on bearing spindles (3), these winding mandrels being adapted to engage winding-mandrel holes in the magnetic-tape cassette (11), and each have at least one coupling fin (10a, 10b, 10c) arranged on its circumference. To facilitate lowering of the cassette (11) onto the winding mandrels (5) and to preclude any problems which could then arise, the winding mandrels (5) are mounted on the bearing spindles (3) so as to be axially movable in a range of axial movement and are each pre-loaded towards a preferred axial position by at least one spring (9).

The apparatus further includes a first intermediate gear selectively engaged with the friction gear, a second intermediate gear which is engaged with the driving gear, elevating means for elevating the first intermediate gear to be engaged with the friction gear in a low-speed, mode and separated from the friction gear in a high-speed mode, and an idler mechanism having a first idler gear corresponding to the first intermediate gear and a second idler gear corresponding to the second intermediate gear, coaxially installed with the first idler gear and having a larger diameter than that of the first idler gear, such that the first idler gear is engaged with the first intermediate gear in the low-speed mode and the second idler gear is engaged with the second intermediate gear in the high-speed mode.

摘要： A cassette tape player for use with a tape housed in a cassette for recording and/or reproducing the tape. The cassette is generally provided with two capstan insert holes, two guide holes formed between the two capstan insert holes, two pinch roller insert openings respectively contiguous to the two capstan insert holes, two openings respectively contiguous to the two guide holes, and a magnetic head insert opening formed between the two openings. The cassette tape player includes a reversibly rotatable capstan adapted to be inserted into one of the two guide holes; a pinch roller adapted to be inserted through one of the two openings corresponding to the guide hole into which the capstan is to be inserted; a first magnetic head for use in normal running of the tape adapted to be inserted through one of the pinch roller insert openings so that the first magnetic head is located on a supply reel side upstream of the capstan in the normal running; and a second magnetic head for use in reverse running of the tape adapted to be inserted through the magnetic head insert opening so that the second magnetic head is located on a supply reel side upstream of the capstan in the reverse running. Thus, the magnetic head to be used in the recording or reproducing operation is located always on the supply reel side upstream of the capstan.

摘要： A reel table assembly for driving a tape reel which has a center hole and a plurality of equally spaced inwardly extending radial teeth formed circumferentially thereof comprises a reel table formed centrally with a reel shaft for carrying thereon the tape reel with the center hole, and a plurality of equally spaced drive pawls which are provided circumferentially in the reel shaft and project radially outwardly of the reel shaft under a resilient force for mesh engagement with the radial teeth of the tape reel. The drive pawls are movable radially inwardly of the reel shaft when the tape reel is carried on the reel table with the radial teeth being in radial abutment on the drive pawls. A friction member is provided on the reel table for direct contact with the tape reel to provide a high degree of friction between the reel table and the tape reel carried on the reel table. The reel table also comprises a low-friction means provided on the reel table for direct contact with the tape reel to maintain the tape reel lifted off the friction member only when the tape reel is carried on the reel table with the radial teeth being in radial abutment with the drive pawls.

摘要： To provide an efficient and easily handled cassette or cartridge for magnetic tape particularly suitable for longitudinal track video recording, a wind-up reel and a pay-out reel are located adjacent each other in an essentially rectangular cassette arrangement, with the tape passing diagonally between the reels so that the reels will rotate in opposite direction when in operation, the reels being engaged by friction rollers which are connected to dynamo electric machines, one of them operating as a drive motor and the other as a dynamic brake; the drive or retardation rollers, respectively, are supported by parallel-link arrangements in which one of the parallel portions of the link also carries the transducer head for essentially perpendicular engagement of the transducer head with the tape, the transducer head and the associated roller being movable in essentially radial direction with respect to the associated winding. The tape is locked in the cartridge, when not in use, by a brake plate, bearing against an end face of the center reel supporting the winding under spring pressure, the brake plate being lifted off its seat with the reels by a plunger operated by the transducing apparatus.
