    Abstract: One embodiment of the present application sets forth a method for simulating an audio output of a three-dimensional object that includes a resonant cavity. The method includes receiving an input mesh of a three-dimensional shape and a hole configuration. The input mesh has an outer surface and an internal cavity, and the hole configuration includes one or more holes. The method further includes adding the one or more holes to the three-dimensional shape based on the hole configuration to generate a modified three-dimensional shape having a resonant cavity. The resonant cavity includes the one or more holes and the internal cavity. The method further includes determining an air pressure coefficient matrix for the resonant cavity. The method further includes computing a minimum non-zero eigenvalue for the air pressure coefficient matrix. The method further includes determining an output resonant frequency for the resonant cavity based on the minimum non-zero eigenvalue.

    Abstract: Systems and methods herein utilize psychoacoustic principles to process audio signals to achieve a desired result. In some embodiments, an exemplary process utilizes a combination of re-harmonization and auditory processing techniques in which a plurality of filtered audio cues are sampled, created and down-mixed into a final music output, which may be designed to trigger specific effects on the function of the body and the brain. In some embodiments, enhanced audio material may be altered during the stream or fixed for a desired result at the beginning of the stream. In some embodiments, a signal enhancement process may be embedded into silicon or a media player, decoder or device with software. In other embodiments, audio or video material may be encoded or finalized into the media file.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a piano system are provided. In some embodiments, the methods include receiving a plurality of key signals related to a first performance of a piece of music, wherein each of the plurality of key signals corresponds to motion of at least one key of a piano during the first performance; generating first performance information based on the plurality of key signals; receiving musical data related to a second performance of the piece of music; receiving musical data related to a second performance of the piece of music, generating second performance information based on the musical data; and providing content for presentation on a display device based on the first performance information and the second performance information. The methods can also include receiving at least one pedal signal corresponding to motion of a pedal of the piano during the first performance, and generating first performance information based on the pedal signal.

    Abstract: A tuning device for a musical instrument includes a body and a neck extending out from the instrument's body. The neck has a free end including a headstock. The headstock includes an anterior instrument face, a posterior instrument face essentially opposite to the anterior instrument face, and at least one tuning key disposed on the posterior instrument face. The tuning device includes a tuning display and is engagable with one or more of the at least one tuning key, having a shape of a right-handed triangle fused to an oblong. The tuning display is disposed on the hypotenuse of the triangle. The display is positioned on the tuning device such as to essentially face the instrument's body when the tuning device is both engaged with the one or more tuning key, and entirely disposed above the posterior surface.
