摘要： A storage and dispensing station for a blister packaging machine for drug portions includes a base electrically coupled to the blister packaging machine and configured to dissipate an electrical charge to the blister packaging machine. A storage container is disposed on the base and includes a housing defining a receiving chamber for drug portions, a cylindrical receiving chamber and a bottom surface. A singulating device is rotatably disposed in the cylindrical receiving chamber and has multiple channels extending along the singulating device and parallel with a rotational axis of the singulating device. The singulating device also includes an electrically conductive coupling and a drive for rotating the singulating device. The singulating device is electrically conductive at least at an outer surface of the singulating device, and the outer surface comes into contact with drug portions. A conductor device provides an electrically conductive coupling between the outer surface and an electrical contact.

摘要： A clamping apparatus for receiving a plurality of objects comprises a base, a limiting mechanism with a pair of limiting plates, and at least one clamping mechanisms secured to one of the limiting plates. The limiting mechanisms are secured to the base and cooperate with the base to form a receiving channel for receiving the objects. Each of the limiting plates comprises a first end. The at least one clamping mechanism is rotatably secured to the first end and clamps the object adjacent to the first end, for allowing the clamped object to be pulled out of the receiving channel. When the clamped object is separated from the at least one clamping mechanism, the at least one clamping mechanism clamps the rest of the objects at the first end.

In one aspect, the method comprises the steps of loading the housing with at least one leader in the form of an elongate strip such that a leading end of said at least one leader is drivably anchored within the housing and a trailing end of the at least one leader protrudes from the housing; fixing a first end of the medicament carrier to the trailing end of the at least one leader; and drivably moving the leading end of the leader such that the medicament carrier is moved into the housing.

摘要： A device and method of using same is provides which includes the use of an apparatus configured to apply labels to parcels moving along a conveyor belt. The apparatus of the present invention includes a support frame, a pair of turntable assemblies, a corresponding pair of arm assemblies, similarly corresponding arm assembly drive motors, a label application head assembly, a label printer/supplier, and a controlling apparatus. The support frame supports the pair of two turntable assemblies. Each of the turntable assemblies supports one of the arm assemblies such that each of the arm assemblies is pivotable about a horizontal axis. Each of the arm assemblies is also movable along its longitudinal axis relative to its respective turntable. The lower ends of arm assemblies are attached together in a hinged connection. At one end of one of the arm assemblies is attached a label application head assembly. This attachment is a pivoting connection that allows for label application to the horizontal or vertical surfaces of parcels passing thereby. The turntable assemblies are not powered, but allow for a relatively free pivoting connection of the arm assemblies relative to the stationary support frame. However, the linear movement of the arm assemblies along their longitudinal axis is powered by corresponding arm assembly drive motors. This linear movement is independently controlled by a controlling apparatus, such that the label application head assembly can be positioned at various desired locations above a conveyor belt or other supporting surface.

摘要： A system for establishing and maintaining the identity of a medication in a syringe (80) from the point in time that a medication is withdrawn from a vial (30) to the point in time that the medication is administered to a patient. This method is based on integrating a label dispenser (40) including preprinted, pressure sensitive, syringe labels (71) with a medicine vial (30). As the medication is withdrawn from the vial a label is provided that identifies the contents of the vial. When this label is applied to the syringe it provides the ability to verify that the correct medication and dosage is being administered to the correct patient. Subsequently the label can be removed from the syringe and used to provide a permanent record of the administration.

摘要： An adhesive bandage dispensing device is provided which facilitates efficient and quick access to an adhesive bandage. The device has a base, a spool holder, a removal platform having a slicer and cutter and an adhesive bandage carrier spool mounted to the device by the spool holder. A continuous strip of adhesive bandages is mounted on the spool. The strip consists of separate adhesive bandages wrapped in a protective coating. The action of pulling the strip away from the spool over the platform causes a portion of the protective covering of strip to be sliced by the slicer. This will expose a bandage which then can be lifted off the remaining portion of the protective coating for use. After this, the cutter is used to separate the bandageless strip from the device for subsequent disposal.
