摘要: An automated teller machine can use an array of pressure sensors, such as piezo-resistive sensors, to detect the presence of foreign objects, such as staples, paper clips, or rubber bands, in a stack of banknotes. A user can insert a stack of banknotes into an automated teller machine. A pair of opposing clamping surfaces can apply pressure to the stack of banknotes. An array of pressure sensors can sense non-uniformities in pressure over the area of the array. If circuitry coupled to the pressures sensors senses a presence of a high pressure area in the surface area of the banknotes, then the circuitry can generate a signal indicating that one or more foreign objects has been detected. The automated teller machine can then prompt the user to remove the stack of banknotes and remove the foreign object from the stack of banknotes.

摘要: A device and method for detecting a film thickness are provided. The device includes: a common electrode, a detection electrode, a common electrode voltage generating circuit, and a detection electrode signal processing circuit. A detection channel for a film to be detected is formed between a first common surface and a first detection surface. The common electrode voltage generating circuit is configured to generate a voltage on the common electrode, as to induce an effective signal voltage on the detection electrode. The detection electrode signal processing circuit includes: a reset voltage time sequence control circuit, a time sequence control circuit for transferring the effective signal voltage on the detection electrode and a differential amplifier.

摘要: An electrostatic capacitance detection device includes a first electrode, and a second electrode at least a part of which is opposed to the first electrode across a transport path extending in a transport direction in which a detection target having a sheet shape is transported. The first electrode and the second electrode extend in a cross direction intersecting the transport direction and have mutually different shapes. Alternatively, the electrostatic capacitance detection device further includes a first floating electrode disposed on the side of the first electrode opposite to the transport path, and a second floating electrode disposed on the side of the second electrode opposite to the transport path. Alternatively, at least one of the first electrode or the second electrode is provided with a first electric field adjuster or a second electric field adjuster.

摘要: The present invention is a system and method to equip the ATM (Automated Teller Machine) with the special hardware to detect the each currency note to determine whether that note is a legal tender or not. The counterfeited currency hardware will work with computer executable instructions to detect counterfeited notes while feeding and dispensing in to and from the ATM machine respectively. The aim of the invention is to negligate the chance of counterfeited currency being fed and dispense from the ATM.
