Abstract: The disclosure relates to an antenna self-capacitance change detection method and apparatus, and related applications. The method includes: acquiring a total self-capacitance change of the antenna and a total self-capacitance change of the sensor electrode respectively; determining a first self-capacitance change of the antenna caused by a temperature change according to the total self-capacitance change of the sensor electrode and a preset self-capacitance change proportional coefficient; and determining a difference value between the total self-capacitance change and the first self-capacitance change of the antenna as a second self-capacitance change of the antenna caused by proximity of an object. The antenna self-capacitance change detection method can accurately determine the antenna self-capacitance change caused by the proximity of the object, to accurately determine whether there is an object approaching, thereby better controlling and adjusting the antenna transmitting power.

Abstract: A detection method of a user of an apparatus is provided in which the apparatus is coupled to a charge variation sensor having a control unit and an electrode to detect an electric/electrostatic charge variation of the user. The detection method includes acquiring, through the electrode, a charge variation signal indicative of the presence of the user. A filtered signal is generated by filtering the charge variation signal. A feature signal is generated as a function of the filtered signal. A movement signal indicative of a movement of the user is generated as a function of the feature signal. A presence signal indicative of the presence of the user is generated as a function of the movement signal.

Abstract: A method for human movement classification includes a plurality of radio frequency (RF) antennas to expose a body surface of a human user to an E-field, at least a part of the human user positioned within a near-field region relative to the RF antennas. The plurality of RF antennas are scanned to determine ground-relative changes in electrical conditions. A differential-scanning subset of RF antennas are selected, including two or more RF antennas for which the changes in electrical conditions exceed a threshold. For each RF antenna in the differential-scanning subset, a set of antenna-relative changes in electrical conditions are determined by comparing the RF antenna to one or more other RF antennas in the differential-scanning subset as a plurality of pairs. Based at least in part on the ground-relative changes in electrical conditions and the antenna-relative changes in electrical conditions, a movement performed by the human user is classified.
