摘要: There is disclosed a method of assessing a flow of fluid in a borehole. The method comprises dispersing or mixing a tracer in the fluid of a borehole; and measuring a tracer concentration over a plurality of timepoints at a predetermined location in the borehole, wherein a decrease in the tracer concentration over time at said predetermined location indicates the borehole is in fluid communication with a flow of groundwater at or around said predetermined location.

摘要: Systems, methods, and computer program products can be used for visualizing the behavior of flow of two or more fluid phases, wherein a fluid phase behavior is represented in a visualization. One of the methods includes determining an occupation time, which is the amount of elapsed time from when a fluid phase first occupies a particular location until a second time. The method includes generating data for a visualization, with a location in the visualization corresponding to the particular location, and with the generated data for that location in the visualization indicating the occupation time

摘要: A system for detecting the operational status of ground engaging tools for agricultural implements includes an agricultural implement including a frame and a ground engaging tool coupled to the frame. The system further includes one or more sensors supported relative to the frame. The sensor(s) are configured to capture data indicative of a fluid flow past the ground engaging tool as the agricultural implement is moved across the field. The system further includes a controller configured to monitor the data received from the sensor(s) and identify an operational status of the ground engaging tool based at least in part on a comparison between one or more monitored values associated with the fluid flow past the ground engaging tool as the agricultural implement is moved across the field and a predetermined threshold value.

摘要: A device for measuring flow rate of wet gas based on an exempt radioactive source, includes a section of cylindrical pipe and a conical throttle located inside the cylindrical pipe and coaxially arranged therewith. The conical throttle includes a head cone section and a tail cone section arranged to have a common bottom surface. The head cone section faces a wet gas inlet of the cylindrical pipe. An annular gap is defined between the inner wall of the cylindrical pipe and the maximum diameter of the conical throttle for passage of wet gas. An exempt radioactive source block is arranged at the maximum diameter of the conical throttle in such a way that the gamma rays emitted from the radioactive source block can transmit radially through the annular gap to reach the gamma ray detector located outside the cylindrical pipe.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for obtaining an indication of fluid inflow in a section of a gas well having multiple perforations through which fluids comprising gas and/or liquid enter the well are described. In an example, the temperature within the section of the gas well is monitored at a plurality of locations. The locations comprising (a) a first set of locations, at or near a perforation; and (b) a second set of locations at which the temperature is substantially independent of the effects of the inflow of gas at a perforation. An indication of temperature excursions at the locations is obtained and used to obtaining an indication of the inflow of fluids to the well by relating the indications of temperature excursions from the second set of locations to liquid inflow and relating the indications of temperature excursions from the first set of locations to liquid and gas inflow.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, and systems for flow measurements by alternating magnetic fields are provided. An example alternating magnetic field flowmeter includes a magnetic token movable within a conduit for guiding a fluid flow (conductive or non-conductive) along a flow path, a magnetic field generator configured to generate alternating magnetic fields within the conduit to move the magnetic token along the flow path with a first flow velocity and opposite to the flow path with a second flow velocity, a detector configured to measure respective first and second electrical signals responsive to the alternating magnetic fields, the first and second electrical signals associated with the first and second flow velocities, and a processor configured to determine a flow rate of the fluid based on the first and second electrical signals. The alternating magnetic field flowmeter can include a calibrator configured to manually or automatically calibrate the flow rate with a correction factor.
