    Abstract: In the fixed frame it has a base, in which a barrel with the axis below the level of the upper edge of the shooter's hand, a trigger, a buffer and a long ejector are attached. A pistol grip with a cartridge magazine is obliquely slid into the frame and attached. A semi-embedded moving slide, containing especially a closed launch pad, a firing pin, an obliquely placed extractor and a rob of the trigger mechanism, is inserted into the frame from above. The slide is covered from above by upper body attached to the barrel and at two points to the frame, which carries sights at the top and has elements of the hammer system placed on the lower side.

    Abstract: A reciprocating bolt assembly has delayed blowback and a firing pin block. Features prevent out-of-battery firing, when the bolt assembly is not fully engaged to the firing chamber or barrel face, a movable member within a bolt body functions as a blocking member that blocks the firing pin and prevents the firing pin from striking a cartridge. In embodiments, the firing pin has two stop portions that the movable member can engage depending on the cycle status of the firearm. A reverse cam mechanism associated with the firing pin blocking provides a resistance to and delays blowback.

    Abstract: A firearm may have gas operating system that renders the firearm capable of firing a wide range of shot loads by passively or automatically compensating for different shot loads. The firearm may include a plurality of ports formed in the firearm barrel, and corresponding ports formed in a gas block of the gas operating system. The ports tap gases generated during firing which are used to cycle the firearm. When firing different cartridge loads, differing combinations of the ports are selectively at least partially blocked or otherwise obstructed by the cartridge casing according to the size of the cartridge. Additionally, the gas operating system includes compensating gas pistons with internal relief valves that can bleed off excess gas to compensate for larger shot loads regardless of the size of the cartridge.

    Abstract: A modular bolt assembly may include a bolt body, a striker assembly, and one or more removable bolt, head having a floating fixing pin, The removable bolt head may have a cartridge engagement surface, a back end that removably mates with a bolt body, and a floating firing pin with a front end that contacts a cartridge primer, and a rear end that receives force from the striker assembly. Bolt heads may be included for different caliber cartridges, allowing the modular bolt assembly to be used with different types of ammunition, the floating firing pin prevents the striker assembly from directly contacting a chambered round without the bolt head, thereby preventing catastrophic failure during use if a boll head is not present and properly positioned.
