Abstract:
An insect-catcher has a frame, a cover and a gathering base. The frame has an open top and a bottom. The top has at least one key mounted on the edge of the open top and protruding from the open top. The cover detachably covers the open top of the frame and has at least one light tube, a high-voltage net and at least one safety switch. Each safety switch has an activating lever aligning with the keyway and pressing against one key. The gathering base detachably connects to the bottom of the frame. The activating lever disengages from the key and turns off the high-voltage net when the cover separates from the frame so people will not get hurt.
Abstract:
A numeral lighter includes an inner lighter housing having a liquefied gas storage and a top supporting frame and a numeral outer casing having a receiving cavity and a top opening communicating with the receiving cavity, wherein the inner lighter housing is detachably received in the receiving cavity of the numeral outer casing at a position that the liquefied gas storage is protectively enclosed within the numeral outer casing while the top supporting frame is positioned at the top opening of the numeral outer casing such that the numeral outer casing forms as an interchangeable shell to accommodate the inner lighter housing therein so as to enhance an aesthetic appearance of the lighter.
Abstract:
A disk-like piezoelectric lighter with a safety lock includes a casing, a gas emitting nozzle, a piezoelectric unit, a sliding member and a safety lock. The safety lock comprises an arcuate resilient arm; a sliding cap having an cover portion, a pair of stands, a pair of branch arms, a lateral blocking stopper and a guiding slot; a safety button which comprises a base portion and a button portion and which is mounted slidably in the guiding slot in such a manner that the base portion comes into contact with the resilient arm to allow the resilient arm to be shifted from the locked position that the resilient arm is blocked up by the blocking stopper to the unlocked position that the blocking up is released to ignite the piezoelectric lighter.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a gas lighter easy to use, capable of stably maintaining a diffusion flame allowing a visual confirmation of the combustion condition and criticality, irrespective of use in the place influenced by the wind or the like. Further provided is a gas lighter capable of externally performing a fuel gas flow control with ease to maintain a combustion balance between a premix flame and a diffusion flame. The fuel gas stored within the fuel tank is distributed for ejection to form a premix flame and a diffusion flame burning together with the premix flame. A flame hole for premix flame is juxtaposed with a nozzle hole for fuel gas to generate the diffusion flame. An externally operable fuel gas flow control mechanism is provided in a fuel gas flow passage for producing the diffusion flame. A combustion flame of the gas mixture is produced downstream of a catalytic member. A catalytic reaction due to the catalytic member is effectively utilized from the initiation of ignition to produce a diffusion flame having a clearer combustion criticality.
Abstract:
A time lock associated with a cigarette lighter can be set to deactivate the lighter for the set time. The time lock may be mechanically or electrically powered or powered by a combination of those forces. The time lock may operate to lock the cover of a first type lighter to the body thereof, it may prevent the depression of the flint striker lever in a second type lighter or it may, in either type of lighter, remove the compression force between the flint and the striker wheel. A counter may be associated with the time of the time lock to register the number of times the time lock is set and thus, indirectly the number of times the lighter was used.
Abstract:
In a spark wheel actuating mechanism of the type that accumulates and suddenly releases energy, in order to render the operation independent of the skill of the user, the said mechanism includes an arming disc turnable by the user; said arming disc compresses a driving spring which exerts a force on a pivotable lever immobilized by a detent and operatively connected to the spark wheel; at the end of its possible angular displacement, the said arming disc causes displacement of said detent. As a result, the said arm is rapidly swung by said spring and thus, a brief, high-speed rotation is imparted to the spark wheel.
Abstract:
A lighter has an ignition system and a burner valve and a actuator that is operable to actuate the valve and the ignition system at a time delay of the instant of ignition relative to the instant of valve opening, and a torsion rod is provided between the actuator and the ignition system and constitutes both a power transmission therebetween and an energy store.
