Abstract: The present application provides an atmosphere-adjustable multi-staged swirl ammonia burner, including a combustion structure, a tangential inflow structure, a secondary-air structure, and an ammonia adjustment structure. The combustion structure includes a swirl-flow pre-combustion chamber, a combustion housing, and a staged-flow adjustment assembly. The staged-flow adjustment assembly is configured to introduce staged airflows into the combustion chamber. The tangential inflow structure is configured to introduce air and fuel gas into the swirl-flow pre-combustion chamber. The secondary-air structure is disposed between the combustion housing and the tangential inflow structure. The ammonia adjustment structure extends through the tangential inflow structure to the combustion chamber and includes a branched inlet pipe and a central adjustment assembly. The branched inlet pipe is configured to introduce ammonia gas. The central adjustment assembly is configured to adjust a spray shape of the ammonia gas introduced from the branched inlet pipe.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a combustion structure that can achieve stable combustion by addressing the aforementioned drawbacks in the prior art such as low flame stability, backfire, deflagration, blockage and/or any other drawbacks. The combustion chamber structure in accordance with the disclosure can include: a grate structure including a first set of elongated components, a fire retention structure including a second set of elongated components. The first set of first elongated components can be arranged along an axial direction within the combustion chamber structure. The second set of elongated components can be arranged along the axial direction in a same direction as the first elongated components. The second set of elongated components can be configured to generate a negative pressure zone within the combustion chamber. The first set of elongated components can form apertures that can be aligned with apertures formed by the second set of elongated components.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, a burner system includes a pilot burner disposed in a furnace at a distal position along a main fuel and combustion air flow axis, and one or more main fuel nozzles disposed at a proximal position along the main fuel and combustion air flow axis. The pilot burner is configured to support a pilot flame and the one or more main fuel nozzles are configured to support a main flame in contact with the pilot flame. The pilot burner is disposed to cause the main fuel and combustion air to be ignited by the pilot flame. The pilot burner may support a diffusion pilot flame or may include a premixing apparatus to support a pre-mixed flame.

Abstract: [Problems] A flat burner elongated in the longitudinal direction has, at an upper end thereof, a main burner port (63) and a flame retention port (64) positioned at least on laterally one side of the main burner port (63). The flat burner uses hydrogen-containing fuel as a fuel. Flash back is prevented at the flame retention port in which the gas ejection speed becomes relatively small.
[Solving Means] A lean fuel-air mixture which is leaner in fuel concentration than a theoretical fuel-air ratio is ejected from the main burner port (63) and a gas containing only fuel is ejected from the flame retention port (64). In addition, the height, on the side of the main burner port (63), of the upper end of the flame retention port (64), is made lower than the height of the upper end of the main burner port (63).-

Abstract: A power generation system for use with a gas fired appliance including a main burner and a gas supply line includes a pilot burner assembly for igniting gas supplied to the main burner and a controller. The pilot burner assembly includes a thermo-electric device configured to convert thermal energy into electrical energy, and a pilot guard. The pilot guard has a first end defining a gas inlet and a second end defining a gas outlet. The controller is configured to receive a signal from the thermo-electric device, and control the supply of gas to the main burner based on the signal. The controller is powered by electrical energy generated by the thermo-electric device. The thermo-electric device has an internal resistance matched to a load resistance of the controller to facilitate maximum power transfer between the thermo-electric device and the controller.

Abstract: A pilot burner assembly includes a bracket, a thermo-electric device configured to be connected to the bracket, and a unitary pilot guard. The bracket includes a first plate and a second plate spaced from the first plate. Each of the first and second plates have a pilot guard aperture defined therein. The pilot guard has a first end defining a gas inlet configured to receive a gas supply line, and a second end defining a gas outlet. The pilot guard includes an elongate body and a pilot hood disposed at the second end, and is configured be inserted into the pilot guard apertures. The pilot guard further includes a first retention element configured to cooperate with a second retention element on the gas supply line to maintain a connection between the pilot guard and the gas supply line.
