    摘要: A torsional vibration damper including a disk-shaped first damper part, a second damper part which is rotatable about an axis with respect to the first damper part, and a torsion spring arrangement with at least one torsion spring unit. The at least one torsion spring unit includes at least two springs which are arranged substantially following one another in the circumferential direction. Further, there is at least one intermediate ring element which is rotatable about the axis with respect to the first damper part and the second damper part and with at least one spring contact arm for the at least one torsion spring unit. The spring contact arm extends substantially radially with respect to the axis. The at least one intermediate ring element has a radial movement restraining component for protecting the at least two springs against a movement in the radial outward direction in their end regions facing the at least one spring contact arm.

    摘要: An installation device for a centrifugal clutch is disclosed. In an embodiment of the invention, the centrifugal clutch includes a clutch cover, a pressure plate for applying a clamping force against a friction plate, and at least one flyweight that moves radially outward under the effects of centrifugal force to cause the pressure plate to exert a clamping force against the friction plate. The installation device includes an installation hub moveable relative to the clutch cover between a first position, wherein the installation hub is engaged with the flyweight to force the engaged flyweight to move radially outward, and a second position, wherein the installation hub is disengaged from the flyweight. A resilient member biases the installation hub toward the second position and is selectively engaged with the clutch cover to inhibit movement of the installation hub toward the first position.

One end of the coil spring or each coil spring bears, directly, or indirectly, against a single retainer or against one of several discrete retainers on one of the flywheels, and the other end of the coil spring or each coil spring bears, directly or indirectly, against a single retainer or against one of several discrete retainers of the other flywheel. At least one slide is interposed between the radially outermost portions of discrete convolutions provided between an internal surface of the at least one flywheel and one or more discrete coil springs, one for each slide. The slides are clamped to selected convolutions of the respective coil springs against lengthwise and/or radial movement away from the respective coil spring or springs.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a friction torque device with an improved damper for attenuating torsional vibrations. The improved damper provides the desired axial load for damping while reducing the weight, cost, complexity and size of a driven disk for a friction torque device. A friction torque device comprises a driving member having of rotation, a cover coupled to the driving member for rotation therewith, a pressure plate coupled to the cover for rotation therewith and a driven disk coupled to an axially extending driven shaft for rotation therewith. The driven disk is interposed between the driving member and the pressure plate, the driven disk includes a rotatable disk assembly and a hub assembly. The driven disk comprises at least one reinforcing plate having a plurality of undulations disposed therein for providing a load between the disk assembly and hub assembly. The reinforcing plate may be coupled to the disk assembly, the hub assembly or the plate may not be attached to another component. Damping is achieved by the disk assembly rotating relative to the hub assembly whereby torque is dissipated in the form of heat energy.

    摘要: A torsional vibration dampening assembly includes a hub having a radially outwardly extending flange with a plurality of openings formed therethrough. A pair of cover plates are supported on the hub for rotation relative thereto, each having a corresponding plurality of openings formed therethrough. A first stage vibration damper, including an annular central damper element having inner and outer rings secured thereto, extends between the second cover plate and the hub. A second stage vibration damper includes a spring damper assembly provided in each of the openings. Each of the spring damper assemblies includes a coiled spring having ends that react against first and second end caps. A movement restraining structure is provided for restraining the end caps from moving freely relative to one another under the urging of the spring. A hollow cylindrical isolation sleeve is disposed about each of the springs. The isolation sleeves prevent the springs from directly engaging the first and second cover plates and the hub during use, thus lowering the amount of noise that is generated during use of the torsional vibration dampening assembly.
