Abstract:
A self-locking fixing device and an antenna assembly are provided. The self-locking fixing device includes an inner mandrel (10) arranged to include a nail head (110) and a nail rod (111) extending away from the nail head (110), and a bushing (114) arranged to include a nail head bushing (124) and a nail rod bushing (125) extending away from the nail head bushing (124). A sidewall of the nail head bushing (124) is provided with at least two elastic clamping units (121). If the inner mandrel (10) is assembled with the bushing (114), the nail head (110) is located in the nail head bushing (124), the nail rod (111) is located in the nail rod bushing (125), and clamping portions of the elastic clamping units (121) are engaged with an upper surface of the nail head (110) to clamp the nail head (110) in the nail head bushing (124). The self-locking fixing device can achieve a good fixing function. When it is applied to an antenna, the PIM and VSWR performance of the antenna can be enhanced, and the rework rate and manufacturing costs may be reduced.
Abstract:
A nutless bolt includes a body having a shaft and a stop coupled to the shaft. Shaft is dimensioned to allow passage through a hole formed in a structure into which the bolt is inserted. The stop prevents body from falling into or through the hole. An axial bore formed in body houses a locking mechanism extending radially from shaft to lock body and nutless bolt in the hole. An actuator pin movable along the bore in a generally down hole direction through various positions. Position L1 is a pre-application position; position L2 is a locking position; and position L3 is a release position. Pin is movable in the down hole direction from L2 where the pin causes the locking mechanism to extend radially from shaft to lock the body in the hole, to L3 where the pin is retained in the body and displaced relative to the locking mechanism.
Abstract:
A multi-shank nail has a first shank, a second shank and a washer; wherein both of the first shank and the second shank have an enlarged head at their top ends and a point at their lower ends. The first shank has a flat contact surface along its longitudinal length at an upper portion, and the second shank has a shape of a longitudinally cut nail such that the second shank is capable of corresponding to the contact surface on the first shank. The first shank has an inclined face and an extended portion in sequence below the contact surface. At least one of the first shank or second shank comprises a plurality of notches opposite the contact surface, and the notches make the first shank or second shank easier to bend.
Abstract:
A harpoon nail having two or more sets of teeth on opposite sides of fingers that deform while penetrating the framing members. The teeth engage with a bottom surface to fasten the framing members together. A piercing nail having sets of teeth on two edges penetrates through framing members and the teeth engage with a bottom surface to fasten the framing members together. A piercing nail with a spring member that deforms as the nail penetrates through framing members engages with a bottom surface to fasten the framing members together. A self-locking nail having two members that move relative to one another when penetrating through framing members fastens the framing members together.
Abstract:
According to the present invention, it is possible to produce an article-fixing device at low cost and in large quantity and also to drive a pin unit in accurate and assured manner, and to firmly mount an object to be fixed. The article-fixing device comprises a pin unit and a washer combined together for supporting an object to be fixed, whereby the pin unit is designed in flat shape and formed by punching a metal plate, has logs in shape of a fork and is extending from a head of the pin unit, and tips of the legs are tapered and spread out, and the washer comprises a pair of guide gaps arranged at opposed positions and for guiding operation to drive the forked legs and for maintaining an angle of driving at a constant angle, the forked legs inserted into the guide gaps are spread out between the pair of guide gaps, and a support base provided between the pair of guide gaps and used for spreading the forked legs inserted into the guide gaps and for maintaining spreading condition of the forked portion of the pin unit.
Abstract:
The invention features an improved flush installation multi-part interlocking nail fastening system which eliminates loosening of flooring members, rubbing, or relative movement, thereby eliminating squeaks and noises. A master nail with modified head and shank portions accepts insertion of two smaller nails of soft composition which, when driven into a pair of internal longitudinal bores, these small nails exit the master nail to form opposing arcs, pulling abutting floor members into tight abutting engagement.
Abstract:
The expansion dowel includes an expansion sleeve (1) and an expanding member (5). The expansion sleeve 1 is provided with a bore (2) tapering in the setting direction as well as with open ended longitudinal slots (3). The expanding member (5) has a blind bore (6) open towards the setting side and has a lug (7) projecting from same at its opposite end, wherein the cross-sections of lug (7) and blind bore (6) are matched in such a way to one another, that a rated break point or failure point is formed. The force dependent response of this rated break point leads to a force dependent expansion while maintaining the driving or advance travel (X).
Abstract:
A nail comprises a shank having an expansion portion with two curved expansion limbs defining a free space therebetween, a first straight shank portion and a second straight shank portion located correspondingly before and after the expansion region, the free space being formed as a longitudinal notch starting from the first straight shank portion and extending to the forward end, the notch having a notch base rising in direction toward the forward nail end, and a wedge arranged in the longitudinal notch and bearing against the notch base, the wedge having an upper edge slightly projecting beyond the shank and being displaceable in direction toward and along the rising notch base.
Abstract:
A fastener for securing a circuit board to a chassis or another circuit board of an electronic appliance in a spaced relationship by a predetermined fixed distance. The fastener comprises a plunger having an inverted pyramid-shaped head and a rod extending downwardly from said head, and a fastener body including an isolating member having at the center thereof an opening for receiving said plunger therein and a pair of locking members located at the opposite ends of said isolating member with a pair of support plates interposed therebetween. When the plunger is inserted into the fastener body, the locking members are expanded outwardly by the plunger so that a circuit board and a chassis or another circuit board are secured to each other in a predetermined spaced relationship.
Abstract:
A fastener for use in soft materials, such as wood, dry wall, and the like, is provided with a shank having a conical void and longitudinal slots in the leading end thereof, forming flexible fingers which bottom in a hole formed in the material to be fastened and flare radially outwardly as material is trapped in the void as the fastener is advanced. In a second embodiment, a shank having a longitudinal slot extending substantially the full length of the shank defines fingers which flare outward as the fastener advances in softer materials. Means for resisting removal of the fastener are provided formed on the fingers.
