    摘要: Disclosed is a process for cleaning wellbore walls, tubing or casings. The process is characterized by (a) preparing an aqueous surfactant composition containing from about 10% to 60% by weight of a mixture of surfactants, the mixture comprising from 10% to 50% by weight of an anionic derivative of an alkylpolyglycoside, from 35% to 80% by weight of an alkylpolyglycoside and from 5% to 25% by weight of an anionic derivative of a fatty alcohol, their balance being 100%; (b) diluting the aqueous surfactant composition in water to form a diluted aqueous surfactant composition and injecting the diluted aqueous surfactant composition into a wellbore containing drilling mud, oily residues or other undesirable deposits; (c) extracting from the wellbore the diluted aqueous surfactant composition containing the drilling mud, oily residues or other undesirable deposits; (d) removing the drilling mud, oily residues or other undesirable deposits from the diluted aqueous surfactant composition; and (e) optionally, re-using the diluted aqueous surfactant composition.

    摘要: An improved method for the chlorine dioxide treatment of oil and/or gas well bores is provided, which eliminates the need for costly and complex chlorine dioxide-generating equipment and yields very high concentrations of chlorine dioxide down hole. The preferred method involves the introduction of reactant(s) into a well and causing a reaction to generate chlorine dioxide in situ. Chlorite and hypochlorite ion sources (e.g., sodium chlorite and sodium hypochlorite) are introduced into the well along with an acid. The well may then be flushed with water to force the reactants and chloride dioxide downwardly to the well formation.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for unblocking particulate plugs that develop in a well that produces fluid laden with suspended particles when a pump in the well is idled are described. In order to remove the plugs, a valve is inserted in the production tubing above the pump, the valve permitting the well fluid to flow up past the valve but inhibiting the well fluid from flowing down past the valve so that a majority of particles that settle from the well fluid when the pump is idle are trapped above the valve and do not plug the pump. A volume of well fluid trapped between the bottom of the valve and the top of the pump permits pressure waves induced by starting and stopping the pump to be generated. The pressure waves force fluids past the valve until the particles in the plug are resuspended to permit production to resume. The advantage is a simple, low cost solution to a long standing problem which required pulling of the production tubing from the well in order to remove the particulate plug.

The method is carried out by establishing a turbulent flow of cleaning fluid through the hydraulic control system and maintaining the turbulent flow until the hydraulic control system has been cleaned without diverting a portion of cleaning fluid through a bypass valve, by use of a variable speed pump coupled to a fluid accumulator. The apparatus comprises a filtration system for cleaning up recovered fluid, a primary pump, an accumulator, a first manifold for fluid injection, a second manifold for fluid recovery, and a return conduit from the second manifold to the filter.
